Steer clear- management won't respond/remedy issues
May 12, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comI would strongly caution anyone considering living at The Hue (Atlantic States Management). During my daughter’s 21-month lease, she experienced extremely high and inconsistent electricity bills for more than half of her time there. Despite repeated emails, maintenance requests, and multiple visits to the front office, the issue was never properly investigated or resolved in a timely manner. We were eventually told—after months of frustration—that the HVAC system was faulty and needed to be ...replaced. While the unit was ultimately replaced, this only occurred after an extended period of inaction, including time without heat. In the meantime, my daughter incurred thousands of dollars in excessive electricity charges. Georgia Power confirmed that the usage was well outside the normal range for an apartment of that size and pointed to equipment issues. What is most concerning is that, even after acknowledging the problem, management has not taken responsibility for the financial impact. Compensation that was promised has not been provided, and there has been no meaningful resolution to date. Additionally, it is incredibly frustrating that there is no accessible phone contact information for management. This lack of transparency and accessibility makes it unnecessarily difficult to address urgent issues. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in responsiveness, accountability, and basic customer service. I would not recommend The Hue to students or families looking for reliable and responsive housing.Read More

September 28, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comi have been living here for a month so far this is what i have to say about the hue so far. the location is nice if you are going out at night especially on the weekends. the isue with the location is that if you want to go to the accademic buildings there is olny one bus that dosent go to all the buildings. if you like walking than that will not be an issue. all utilities are included except trash wich is nice. there are tons of events here at the hue however the emails for the events are ...sometimes sent out last minute. if ou have a car or bike i reccomend bringing it with you because the busses are not always reliable. if you have verision i reccomend switching to tmoble if you move here because verision usually does not work in these buildings you do have a student discount. the wifi is was really weard to set up. i reccomend making shure your first day after movein here is free so you can work with the office to get your wifi set upRead MoreProperty Manager Responded

August 14, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comThe apartment itself is very pretty, although extremely overpriced, even if you're just renting a room. while the staff is friendly, the building rules are insane. Having to pay 100$ if you get locked out of your apartment and lock you into your lease, unable to get out. when I moved in my room was extremely dusty and black mold was going in my bathroom, when I complained I was told it was just algae (when it was clearly mold)Property Manager Responded

July 31, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comAs someone who lived in the SCAD dorms, this place is 100x better. I love it here! The rooms are a perfect size for privacy and having a private bathroom is awesome! The kitchen is big and perfect for cooking meals and the cabinets can fit so much food to last you a while. They also have 2 gyms, one big - one small, a pool, a coffee machine and 2 outdoor decks. They even provide computers and a printer. Oh! And don't forget the snack shack! It's like a personal 7/11. I reccomend this place to ...all my friends! The leasing office is always helpful and kind. Oh! And they have a maintenance team that is super fast! We had multiple issues while living there with the wifi, and only recently did they end up supplying us with a decent connection. The staff themselves are great, while the prices are extremely high. July 1, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comThe community is great, everyone at the Hue is nice and helpful. The gym and printers have been extremely convenient, however the pool is not as clean and the valet service sometimes delay on trash pick ups. The fire alarms would always go off at the worst times and the elevators were always buggy. However, I did enjoy my stay at the hue because of the convenience of the location as well as the accommodating management team.Property Manager Responded

June 15, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comNot renewing my lease. I would have considered staying if parking and rent weren’t so expensive ALONG WITH the disaster that is the fire alarms.
