I am an resident of the James over two years. I really love to live in this area. Very peaceful and safe town and convenience to go to the market. Especially if you commute to the city, this place is perfect because the bus and train is right front of the building. Many newly built apartments are designed to accommodate a lot of people, which often results in a lack of privacy. However, at The James, the apartments are spaciously spread out, providing a very comfortable living environment with ...

The James is a fantastic property. My husband and I moved here after moving from our previous apartment early. Maintenance requests are responded to promptly and professionally. Armando is the best! The staff is welcoming and the building is always clean. The building is quiet and the amenities are great!

No Peace & Quiet at the James

The James is 40 feet from railroad tracks. The late night train whistles are very annoying Barking Dogs day and as late at 1 am. Daytime construction drilling and banging from retail stores below appartments is unbearable And the annual double digit rent increases are unaffordable

Over Priced. A 15% increase last year and 14% this year. Whistle Noise from trains across the street from building, Pool is a 3 foot adult wading pool that few tenants use. Too many dogs that bark day and night! Uneven heat and cooling. Thermostat set for 70 degrees in living room and the temp is 82 degrees in bedroom. TOO HOT TO SLEEP!

Avoid the top floors

We rented an apartment on the top floor, asking for a quiet one. Unfortunately the developer made the decision to mount all the mechanical equipment right above the apartments on the top floor. The entire ceiling hums. It's impossible to sleep. And after 10mo of complaints nothing has been done (other than a 20%+ increase in the rent). Avoid... Definitely not luxury.

The noise on the top floors is unbearable. They installed all the HVAC condensing units and pumps right on top of the apartment, the ceiling hums and shakes. Despite multiple complaints for over 10mo the noise only got worse. Not luxury at all, definitely not worth the price. They also jacked up the rents after only one year...
