While advertised as smoke-free, The Julian at South Pointe failed to enforce this policy effectively. Despite multiple complaints and even medical documentation of secondhand smoke-related health issues, management did not adequately address the problem.

The Julian is the most beautiful apartment complex I have ever lived at. The location is perfect and I can quickly get anywhere in the metroplex. The complex is quiet and calm and has a wonderful pool to relax in. The staff are friendly, helpful, and they go out of there way to make your stay awesome!! And they have a courtesy officer to make the complex more secure. This is the safest and quietest place I have ever lived in and plan on staying for many more years!!

I can’t say how much this location is Unique from the bike trails to many parks for the kids nearby. It’s ever changing because is growing and Julian at south point is growing with it . Amazing management team with swift response to all maintenance calls . Top of the line Amenities Pool , Gym and Free Starbucks coffee. I highly Recommend!

Poor overall

The quality of units is poor. Paper thin walls, lake fountain doesn't work (stagnant water), grounds are unkempt such as pool bathroom is always dirty, firepit doesn't work, grill doesn't work. Garbage is consistently overflowing from Friday- Sunday with garbage lined down the sidewalk. Overall awful place- looks pretty from a distance.

Not that great, pretty but poor quality

I find the Julian at South Pointe pretty on the outside but lacking quality On the inside, especially for the price. Insulation between floors is terrible. I can hear every step, shower, vacuum and flush of my upstairs neighbors. The cabinet doors are very cheap thin material and slam easily. The garbage disposal switch is under the sink cabinet, looks like it would be in the garage.
Amenities that they boast about are not that great, or don’t really exist. The coffee bar is really just a big ...
fancy coffee machine. It doesn’t have cream, so can’t make the drinks most people like. I have never seen a candy bar. There is a fire pit, but it doesn’t have fire. There is a dog park, but not a washing station as stated on the front page of the website. Trash valet only pick up bags of trash and broken down boxes. They don’t pick up ‘bulk items’. They only have one dumpster on property and sometimes it is locked.
Construction for a new apartment complex just started next door, and it is right next to the pool.

The apartment community itself is a beautiful place. The apartments are spacious, some units have attached garages and yards. The kitchen is amazing and the master bath in the 2 bedroom is anything you can ask for. The way the units are set up its as if you have a house, which I love. I got a little irritated during the process because some of the information was contradictory depending on who I talked to, but in the end it was ok. The property is brand new so nobody in the office "knows the exact procedures" and how they're going to run the place. Be sure to have your questions ready because they won't readily offer the information. You apply then find out all the details and kinks after they've already taken your money. Everytime I came in contact with them, I got contradicting information. So be prepared to be the "test dummies" until they get their things in order.
