Not a dull moment
November 20, 2023Very clean, everything you need just like home. There are many many other attractions within 1 or 2 hours. Galveston is just down the road, several water parks close by, bowling, skating, golf and many more fun places and things to do in this area. You can catch fish right off your balcony which is always a blast with your children.Review from Apartments.com

November 20, 2023I’ve stayed here at the landing many times, the views are remarkable, the fishing is fantastic, we could fish right from the balcony. The rooms are always clean and the staff is the friendliest around. Highly recommend.Review from Apartments.com
Remarkable Place
September 19, 2023Great view of the lake. Rooms need a little updating, but for all utilities included I will not complain! Great customer service, theyre very friendly and helpful. Some amenities are for children, such as the basketball court and playground. Very beautiful scenery when walking the property.Review from Apartments.com
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE
July 19, 2021BEDBUGS!!!! We were in room 221 and the downstairs bed had bedbugs all in it!! Found them crawling on my sleeping 2 year old at 3:30am. Called the "emergency number" for the place and tried to get a human to come see the bugs but was only given the run around. We have pics and video of the bedbugs and yet they will not take responsibility for this. The lady we spoke to was in complete denial!!! She stated that it was "absolutely impossible" there were bedbugs and basically called us liars!!? We ...had to load up at 4am and drive around to find a clean place for my family to sleep. Wasted a good amount of money on this place! They refuse to give a refund. We will absolutely take this as far as we need to ensure no other children fall victim to this!!!Property Manager Responded

We are not sure who you dealt with at the time of your stay, but we apologies for any inconvience and issues you had with your stay at The Landing. We do not have bed-bugs here, and if we had we would have dealt with the situation immediately. For any future vacations here at The Landing, please let us know with any issues or concerns you may have through-out the stay. We try to accomadate and give the best we can to our guests. Again, we are very sorry this happened.
