Rent overpriced management unhelpful

The rent is too high for it being an old apartment with a paint job. The washer, dryer, fridge, and oven look like ones you'd buy a decade ago, with no digital parts (not even clock/timer on oven). No microwave is included. Gunshots can be heard across the lake several times a month. A/C unit broke multiple times over the summer and it was not replaced. The agents at the front office are very unsympathetic, and it's hard to get anyone on the phone. Had my car towed away while it was parked in ...
front of my apartment, and their frustrating parking rules makes it easy for guests' cars to be towed as well.
