Overall, The Mark at Brickyard is a good apartment complex. We have lived here for about three years, and the apartments themselves are nice.
However, if you have loud neighbors, good luck. Unfortunately, management has not been able to effectively address our ongoing noise issues, and that is ultimately why we are leaving. We understand that living in an apartment comes with some level of noise, but dealing with excessive noise during all hours of the night for an extended period of time became ...
unreasonable. We submitted written noise complaints, but after more than a year of ongoing issues, we ultimately decided we couldn’t take it anymore.
Maintenance is generally timely when they do respond to requests, and we have had good experiences with them completing repairs. However, there have also been times when maintenance requests were not acknowledged or we didn’t receive a response, which could be frustrating.
The halls and elevators can also be unpleasant at times, particularly when residents do not clean up after their dogs.
Overall, I would consider it a good complex, and if it weren’t for the ongoing noise issues, we probably would have stayed another year.
