NEVER EVER CHOOSE THIS PLACE, PLEASE RETHINK ABOUT RENTING OR MOVING HERE TO THE MEWS IN NOTHER BERGEN.
I'm a current resident and made a BAD DECISION signing an 18 month lease based on how it looked from the outside.
1. Absolute not worth the rent you pay. The apartment unit have low quality amenities. The walls are super thin, good luck if you end up with a noisy neighbor like me, stomping the entire day especially during quite hrs, most buildings and other apartments with the rent you pay, ...
have thicker concrete walls and basic noise cancellation. I spoke regarding this to the rude management lady also mentioned in the other reviews here below, she first cut my call when I went to the office directly in 5 minutes, she was there not doing anything but asked me waiting for 20 min thinking I'll leave. But I stayed and she said "it's an apartment noises are usual" but for the premium rent you pay that was an ignorant reply.
2. The kitchen does not have a basic exhaust, so you're always filled with smokey stinky smell from all others in the building. No ventilation and winter time it can be hard, as there no ventilation options at all.
3. It has connectivity to nothing, the apartment gym is not great but a good one is like miles away. The bus to the city is so less frequent and weekends it will take you 1-2 hr to get anywhere.
3. Don't be fooled by pictures that show something like a hardwood floor, they are like thin sheets. The celling keeps cracking frequently.
You pay a high rent for how fancy it looks from the outside. But with similar rent you can find a better place with way better in unit amenities and with a better offer. There is no security deposit, but a move fee that's not refundable.
Take this review as a heads up before you move here. You'll find a better place. Just don't move here.
