DO NOT MOVE TO THE MEWS - WASTE OF MONEY

NEVER EVER CHOOSE THIS PLACE, PLEASE RETHINK ABOUT RENTING OR MOVING HERE TO THE MEWS IN NOTHER BERGEN.
I'm a current resident and made a BAD DECISION signing an 18 month lease based on how it looked from the outside.
1. Absolute not worth the rent you pay. The apartment unit have low quality amenities. The walls are super thin, good luck if you end up with a noisy neighbor like me, stomping the entire day especially during quite hrs, most buildings and other apartments with the rent you pay, ...
have thicker concrete walls and basic noise cancellation. I spoke regarding this to the rude management lady also mentioned in the other reviews here below, she first cut my call when I went to the office directly in 5 minutes, she was there not doing anything but asked me waiting for 20 min thinking I'll leave. But I stayed and she said "it's an apartment noises are usual" but for the premium rent you pay that was an ignorant reply.
2. The kitchen does not have a basic exhaust, so you're always filled with smokey stinky smell from all others in the building. No ventilation and winter time it can be hard, as there no ventilation options at all.
3. It has connectivity to nothing, the apartment gym is not great but a good one is like miles away. The bus to the city is so less frequent and weekends it will take you 1-2 hr to get anywhere.
3. Don't be fooled by pictures that show something like a hardwood floor, they are like thin sheets. The celling keeps cracking frequently.
You pay a high rent for how fancy it looks from the outside. But with similar rent you can find a better place with way better in unit amenities and with a better offer. There is no security deposit, but a move fee that's not refundable.
Take this review as a heads up before you move here. You'll find a better place. Just don't move here.

This place used to be great, Meridia Living Purchased the property in March and it has been a nightmare since. Maintenance is a joke. Respond very poorly to your needs. In the summer It was parties every single day in the pool with outside people smoking weed in front of children. I tried to call the office to make a complaint, but they never answered. They have never responded to my email with my concerns as well. The WHOLE Hudson County was on this property hanging around. We pay lots of money ...
for these apartments and FEEs for these " amenities" just for outside people to get to enjoy it? They used to have security guards on the premises they got rid of that too. The amount of FEES they will charge you is ridiculous. Late fees + whatever else they want to add to your account they will. Hands down they are professional Thief's let's just put it that way. The person who is always there in the office doesn't ever know the answer to any questions you ask it's like he is also useless. I had to leave this place RUNNING not walking. Consider this place 10x before deciding if you want to move in. It will be a living hell. Hate to see my hard work money be spent on a place like this.

I’ve enjoyed living at Hudson Mews. My kitchen has the latest appliances and I have ample space for my husband and I in our one bedroom apartment. Since I work in the city, I appreciate that my commute is easy with the local buses. It have been a great experience living here.

Hudson Mews is amazing! When I first moved in Mario took such great care of me as I moved across country during the pandemic. That set the tone to what I knew would be a wonderful living experience. Darlene has also been an awesome manager and everyone is always so pleasant and professional. I love living at Hudson Mews!

My living experience has improved since I don't lose my packages anymore. The management has installed a package system, and they signed my packages and kept them in the office, for which I am super grateful. The only downside, I would say, is that they don't reply to emails anymore.

Hudson Mews is very safe, I been living here for like 3 weeks now and everything feels very safe and quiet. There is plenty of food shops in the area and you have a grand bazaar across the street which is awesome, transportation to NYC and anywhere is literally one block up. They build a community here which is very nice and also competition with prices. It’s great

I recently lost a package worth more than 1k USD. The leasing office didn't sign the parcel nor help me to find it delivered by DHL. I have no idea which building that was, and I didn't sign for that parcel. I don't even know who signed for it. They could leave it in the leasing office if I were not home, but I was there all the time waiting for that parcel for two days. The first day, they said no one was there to sign for the parcel, but I was at home all the time. This is all because the ...
leasing office still hasn't set up the doorbell system even though I've lived here for 2 months! This is absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible, and I have never experienced this kind of trouble in other apartments I've lived in so far. The management here is non-exist. Not to mention there were random vehicles consistently parked on my parking spot all the time, and the leasing office did nothing so far.
