Welcome to The Mill at Auburn - premium student housing near Auburn University! Our off-campus apartments are designed to provide Auburn Tigers with the amenities and features they need to succeed. Choose from our 2, 3, or 4 bedroom floor plans; each featuring private bedrooms and bathrooms, walk-in closets, faux hardwood flooring, granite countertops, full-size washer and dryer, a spacious kitchen with custom cabinetry, a farm style kitchen sink, and a breakfast bar, and a private patio or balcony. Each fully-furnished apartment includes a designer furniture package and is pet-friendly. We offer upgraded units that feature faux hardwood flooring throughout, ceiling fans in each bedroom, and a 55" Smart TV in the common area. High-speed internet, cable, gas, water, trash and sewer services are all included in your monthly rental installment.

    Office error, but maintenance rocks The day of move in, they gave one of the other roommates my daughter’s room key and all things associated with my daughter’s room. We had already been by the office to know that she was assigned room B. So, when we arrived, we had to get the girl, who had already moved in room B out, so we could move my daughter in to the room assigned to her on our lease. The apartment was filthy and needed lots of repairs. It has taken some time, but the maintenance guys ...
    have gotten things fixed and we are now pleased. Thank you to the maintenance team for the repairs and upgrades to make my daughter’s first apartment experience better than it started!

    Good complex! For a complex in a college town, The Mill is great! Close to campus and walking distance from tons of things. Maintenance is quick and the complex office is always helpful.

    I have lived here the past two years and have enjoyed every day. The view of the pool from the balcony is great and Bean thinks so too as she likes to sit in the window sill and watch the outside :)

    Move in review Move in was a super quick and easy thing! It was not very crowded and we were able to find a parking space for each car! The rooms were not in amazing condition, my walls had tons of nail holes everywhere so I’m worried about potentially losing the deposit over that even though I don’t use nails for my stuff. We shall see but at the least they let you submit a report of things wrong with the room within 48 hours and you won’t be penalized for those things. Overall a good ...

  • Avoid if you can

    It is a place to live. When moving in, the place was filthy, furniture damaged, and overall in crappy condition; it was even missing the burners on our stove. They have mold issues, and you're most likely going to have to walk for 10+ minutes every morning to get to the bus stop. If you get a bottom floor, be aware that there is a good chance of having an AC unit right outside your window humming 24/7. The maintenance is alright, but they also like towing if you have a guest over that didn't know ...
    to park in the visitor section. Also, be prepared to hear every move of your upstairs neighbors. The insulation in general isn't great, especially in closets, and the electricity costs are high due to inefficient machines. Finally, if you end up next to the basketball court, know that there will be dudes out there at midnight all the time making noise.

    I had an incredibly frustrating experience at The Mill at Auburn. From the very first day of move-in, my apartment was in terrible condition—filthy, with trash, bugs, and damages everywhere. Despite raising these concerns immediately, the cleaning crew provided by the management did a poor job, and I had to hire additional cleaners to get the place livable. Communication with the management was consistently unreliable. I was given conflicting information regarding the return of my security ...
    deposit. Initially told that I could receive my deposit back after a walk-through, I later found out this wasn’t true. After moving out, I was hit with unexpected charges for cleaning and damages, despite the apartment being in poor condition when I moved in. To make matters worse, my deposit was mistakenly sent to my former roommate’s address and made payable to Tuskegee University, not to me. Even after several communications, the issues have not been resolved, and I still haven’t received my deposit back. The entire experience has been deeply frustrating, and I would not recommend this complex to anyone!!

I have lived here for a year and half, and like any residential property issues do arise, but here when they do occur the maintenance team has the problem fixed in a timely manner. There are several resident events and giveaways throughout the year and the amenities at the front office, though they need some TLC, are still nice and are great for everyone. The location of The Mill is also super convenient, only a five minute drive to down town, but you do not have to deal ...
    with loud road noises which is a blessing if you live in Auburn. Overall, I have already renewed my lease and plan to continue to do so. Just like anything, The Mill is what you make it, alot of the issues that I have come across as a resident here are caused by the mistreatment by residents. The Mill is an amazing place to live and would (and have) referred people to it.
