Each work to meet the needs of residents regardless of the nature of the need. Following an issue, each time I saw Brandon and Otis, they inquired about the issue I had experienced to ensure it was properly corrected. Caleb answered so many questions as I was considering the Monroe, and as I was moving in and throughout my time at this apartment complex. Caleb ...was patient and kind in his responses to my question. Brandon, Otis, and Caleb are super-stars! I also enjoyed the social activities!! Used to be great, gone down hill with loss of staff members
January 23, 2025I started renting at the Monroe in 2022 and when I first rented I LOVED living here. Rent was decent for the amenities, the part of town, being near Bobby Jones, the leasing office/maintenance staff were great and helpful. It all went downhill from there. Two members of the staff left, Nate and Jessica (there is another Jessica there now, it is not her obviously). And LeShaun from the maintenance team left as well. Their loss was felt immediately by many renters. The three of them went above ...and beyond to make people feel comfortable, have their needs addressed, etc. They how to retain tenants and keep them happy. Worth mentioning that the pool is great, the gym is small but it has all the neccessities, and the rooftop is cool. In 2024 I moved out of my unit to a new unit in the property and my rent went up expotentially. (Between 2022 and 2023 it went up by only by about $100). We were paying almost $2600 for a unit less than 1,000 SF. At the time I knew I was getting screwed but let them because my lease was about to end and I didn't have the time to figure out a plan b. Not even 9 months after signing that new lease in 2024, I broke my lease and moved out. I found a place with the same (if not better amenities) walking distance to my office, for 200 more SQ FT for $300 LESS a month. Then I go on the Monroe website to see what they've listed my old unit for? ALMOST $500 LESS THAN WHAT I PAID FOR IT. All this is to say that there are better places in Atlanta for cheaper. Although if my unit is $500 less then maybe it is worth it for the money LOL. Last thing I'll say is they love charging all these random fees on top of rent. Pest control, parking is crazy, an amenity fee (my current place doesnt have this as a seperate fee), trash valet (that I never used because the time is so inconveinent) and they don't include that in the price on the site.Property Manager Responded

November 6, 2024I feel like this place use to be worth it for the money (overall communication, appliances working, maintenance, overall apartment events improvements) and now it feels like a super expensive college apartment with no staff really caring or making efforts to be seen (updates to events 2-3 hours before they start; lack of communication/maintenance struggles since LaShun left). It sucks because a bunch of my neighbors/friends have moved from here due to this. I will still probably renew since my ...partner is moving in and we love the location. October 31, 2024We moved here from out of state for a government job. Loved the location being minutes from office and within walking distance of shopping, groceries , restaurants and medical services. Love the access to miles of trails in a wooded setting along streams in and around the Bobby Jones Golf complex. Modern, clean and fresh facility that offers covered secure parking, amazing meeting areas, outdoor pool with grilling. August 14, 2024Moving to Atlanta, I had heard a lot about how dangerous the Buckhead area is, and was actually looking at apartments for rent in other areas. But the building is simply so beautiful and well done and I found a unit with the most gorgeous long, winding balcony I’ve ever seen. I have not felt scared, nor have I heard of any acts of violence or other criminal activity in my apartment complex. The people are kind, polite, and respectful. Most everyone has a dog, so if you like animals, this is ...definitely the place to be! It seems like everyone knows each other because we all go out and walk dogs or around the perimeter. It’s close to a lot of great restaurants and shops. Midtown is really close and it’s a quiet and safe community. The leasing officers and managers are also always great. I have loved every single one of them, but I’d like to give a special shout out to Nate. Nate is like the community mascot. He is exceptionally kind, a great listener, funny and easy to talk to you about your questions, concerns and even difficult life situations. They all are. Every single person who works here has been nothing but lovely to me, and I would highly recommend living at The Monroe! You’ll love it.Property Manager Responded

Lived here for 3 years and don't want to leave!
September 10, 2021I moved into the Monroe in July 2019 and haven't even thought about moving once. The location is so ideal being between midtown, west midtown, and Buckhead, and with easy access to I-75 as well as SR400. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, crime has been low (relative to the rest of Atlanta), and the golf course and beltline in what is essentially our back yard comes in clutch when you need to get some fresh air. Jessica and Alex are amazing reps for the Monroe too-- anything on their plate is ...quickly and professionally taken care of. And maintenance requests are always quickly handled by the excellent gentlemen who work them. Honestly-- the only complaint I have with this place is sometimes the leaf blowers and garbage trucks are really, really loud in the morning. And the buildings have a loud echo so any cars, music, etc are much louder than normal. But that is just a tiny complaint and hasn't made me unhappy being here. Overall, at the Monroe you get amazing units with great styles and utilities, a responsive and professional leasing and maintenance team, and a safe, convenient and open environment.
