When I was locked out of my apartment at 4 am I called the Community assistant, Amanda came to help me immediately. Not only that but the property is super close to uconn which is extremely helpful. Great location, abhorrent management
August 31, 2023Overall, this was a decent experience living here. However, the exceedingly long wait times for maintenance, along with the maintenance staff smelling up my apartment with cigarettes made this a frustrating experience. The junior staff at the front desk are lovely, however the managing staff are difficult, rude, and frankly should not be working in hospitality. They would be better off not offering these services if they are going to do a shoddy job. Great Staff and a Lovely Area to Live In
February 28, 2023I always had a great experience with the staff at The Oaks on the Square. I could always tell that people like Jennika, Shantni, and management overall really care about the wellbeing of the property and its residents. The buildings are located in the best part of Storrs, next to really nice shops, restaurants, and is even within walking distance of the grocery store. Pretty much all negative reviews are irrelevant at this point because the office has made so many positive changes to its staff ...and management that everything is run much better than it used to be. Studio and one-bedroom apartments go very quickly, so finding a roommate or two is always a good option. The Oaks is definitely worth looking into whether or not you're a student at UConn. If you are a student, the apartments may be pricey, but all in all they are far cheaper than on-campus housing and would provide a much better experience than living in a dorm.Property Manager Responded
