Epoch and the staff at The oaks on the lake
August 12, 2025I loved it there for 3 years. Then they decided not to renew my lease for a fourth year because they have a leasing agent that is rude and doesn’t know how to be respectful and polite to the residents. She doesn’t take advice or suggestions because she knows more than a 75 year old who has worked in customer service for over 50 years. Because of this person they literally put 75 year old widow to the streets by a certain date. Epoch Management is also a disrespectful management company. They ...allow their employees lie to the residents and allow them to be rude and disrespectful. They will walk by a resident and not acknowledge them…even if you don’t remember their name just say”hi, how are you remember we are here for you”! But they are not there for the residents, they feel we owe them for allowing us to live there when in reality they are there because of residents. The leasings are rude once you sign. Oh by the way the agent that could not take advice or suggestions was promoted..remember she had me thrown out and I am 75 years and a widow…perfect example of selfishness and disrespect. Do not rent an apartment from a community managed by Epoch!Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT
September 20, 2022Management/Office is rude and gives a lot of attitude (mainly the Assistant Manager). The apartment material is so cheap, walls are as thin as paper! People talking outside sound like they are in your living room. You barely touch the wall wrong it gets marked/scuffed!!! Their residents app is the worst! We paid rent once on the 3rd on the app and we got charged a late fee! ASSISTANT MANAGER PUT ON TWO LATE FEES!! THE ELEVATORS ARE NEVER WORKING! Maintenance takes awhile to get a work order done! ...It’s a “gated community” but the gates are always open since they are broken! If you’re in the 20-30 age range they up charge your rent! It’s terrible - we were three months in and almost broke our lease just leave!! RUDE, POOR QUALITY AS EMPLOYEES, BUILDING AND PROPERTYProperty Manager Responded
