About The Oaktops Apartments
At the top of the hill in the East Terra Linda area of beautiful San Rafael is the sanctuary of The Oaktops Apartments. Amazing panoramic views, extremely peaceful and private quintessential Marin! The Oaktops is a family owned small, upscale 32 unit property with two buildings. Our niche is our beautiful location with lots of wildlife, amazing views and we are an extremely quiet and private community. Oaktops has one-bedroom apartments only and one assigned parking space in our private shared garage is included with the rental rate. You enter the building thru the ground level open air garage and go up or down a set of stairs to access our apartments. We are unique in that even our garages have spectacular views of the Marin hills. All apartments have crown molding, new lighting with granite counters and stainless-steel appliances and walk-in closets. Most apartments have an open concept kitchen. All kitchens have ample cabinets and drawers for storage. Cats are welcome with a pet deposit, and we do not charge pet rent. Dogs are sometimes accepted with management approval depending on the apartment location and other situational factors. Dogs must be acclimated to apartment living and have a reference for being quiet and a good community member is required. Pet birds are not accepted. Pictures do not do our apartments justice. Come and be charmed by visiting Oaktops to see an apartment and the views in person. Available apartments can be toured once vacant by appointment only. Contact the office to see if our community is a good match for your needs and life priorities. Prior to scheduling an appointment you will be sent a link to a video tour showing that specific apartment layout and views from the deck. The Oaktops property is located across the freeway from the Northgate and Northgate One shopping areas and the San Rafael Kaiser hospital and new medical office building. It is near the San Rafael Farmer's Market, Civic Center Lake Park and convenient to many outdoor recreation options. It is a great central location for commuting and close to the freeway yet quiet due to being at the top of the hill.
