Great Tour Experience at Olivia

I toured the Olivia Apartments with Maya and had an excellent experience. She was very kind, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the tour. Maya answered all of my questions and highlighted the features of the community in a clear and thoughtful way. The gym in particular was very impressive and stood out as one of the best I’ve seen in an apartment community. Overall, the tour was positive, and Maya did a great job.

I strongly advise against moving here. Management ignores resident complaints, especially regarding noise. If you work from home, this isn't the place for you. We truly value our residents' concerns and always strive to respond promptly and take appropriate action depending on the nature of the complaint. We understand that noise can be a challenge in community living, as many factors contribute to it. While we do enforce quiet hours and address noise complaints, there are limitations to what can be controlled in a shared living environment. Regarding the after-hours security service, their role was specifically to assist with complaints outside of office hours in which they provide us with updated reports so we can handle them directly. However, we recognize the importance of effective solutions and are continually reviewing our processes to better serve our residents. Everything here is truly fantastic! The staff are not just helpful; they’re genuinely friendly and bursting with knowledge. If you're working at OHSU, you'll love the convenience of being right next to the NS Streetcar, and the aerial tram is just a pleasant walk away. I had a terrible experience living here. Management ignored safety issues like a broken parking garage door, failed to address noisy neighbors, and neglected basic building maintenance, including trash and elevator problems. They focused more on superficial events than actual resident concerns, making it an unbearable place to live.

The Olivia is a very nice place to live. However, it is bothersome only have two elevators because when an elevator is being reserved for someone to move in, there is only once elevator to use which causes longer wait times and more foot traffic. Also, it seems like there are frequent mechanical issues with the elevators, trash chutes, and garage doors. It seems like something is always down. Other than those few things, my experience with The Olivia has been very positive.

I moved in a month ago and have loved living here. The location at the waterfront makes the commute to work super easy and the overall community here is great. The management team at the building is also lovely and very helpful during the move-in process
