August 21, 2025The Otto is a beautiful facility. The decorators did an amazing job. However, as others have said, there are thin walls and floors so you can hear people walking above you and talking next door. They also send ALOT of text messages (almost 1-2/day). February 14, 2025After staying at The Otto for almost 9 months, I can confidently say that it is one of the best managed properties in Waconia. Right from Katie helping us in a very smooth move in, to being very transparent about all the fees, crystal clear communication, prompt maintenance, and the current management going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable time for all the residents, it has been a great experience for me and my partner. The units are modern, with really nice kitchen appliances and lots of ...windows for natural light. The units on the back side face a wooded area, which you'll love if you're a nature lover. They have a dedicated package room and the management puts in efforts to arrange packages by floor, so you can find yours right away. The Otto also has great amenities, including a gym with a good variety of equipment as well as a yoga studio. There are also a couple of outdoor areas with grills and seating if you plan on having parties. The theater room is amazing for a movie night. The apartment is pet friendly and there is enough area around the building to walk your dogs or play fetch with them. The location is ideal, being at a walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. The Target in Waconia is only a 5 minute drive away. Best place I've ever lived
February 13, 2025I moved into the Otto 6 months ago and it is the nicest apartment I've ever lived in. We have a large-ish sized dog and a cat, and they love it here too. There is an enclosed dog run and a good backyard for playing fetch. Our cat likes to watch the birds and squirrels in the woods behind the building.
