October 15, 2025Part 1: I want to love this place but have to admit it’s just “ok”. Maybe it’s all the little things that just add up; especially for the premium price. The staff is nice, no big issues or complaints there. My feedback (again just my preference for an apartment with “premium” prices and “amenities”): 1)Close to every unit is occupied, however it feels like a ghost town. If you prefer a quiet, secluded, home this place is for you. If you like a “community” look elsewhere. 2) Top floor consists ...of an awesome community kitchen which is never utilized. You can’t even reserve it if you’d like to have a small gathering. Wait, you’re only allowed to have two guests at a time anyway. 3) Top floor also consists of a bar/pub area with pool table, tvs, and poker table. A great hang out spot with cool downtown views; again you can’t host parties or guests; nor reserve. So mostly it stays vacant and looks pretty for prospective residents on their tour.Property Manager Responded

July 31, 2025I’ve been living at The Oxbow for 8 months now, and I absolutely love it here. From day one, the entire staff has been top notch, always friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It makes a big difference knowing you’re taken care of by people who actually care about the residents. The location is perfect with so much to do nearby, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance. The amenities are another major highlight. July 15, 2025The Oxbow is probably one of the best apartment buildings I have toured in the KC area. They have plenty of amenities, responsive staff, and they are located in a very walkable part of North Kansas City. Additionally, the rent is very reasonable. I suddenly had to relocate for school and I was able tour, apply, and begin living at the Oxbow in less than two weeks. June 30, 2025I would’ve loved to give this place a five star review. Beautiful building, looks well maintained, friends love it, and I’ve been wanting to live here for a while. Unfortunately my problem is with the communication between the leasing staff. People in the leasing office need to talk to each other more there has been a lot of miscommunication.Review from Apartments.com
