      With my family of 6 we have been a residents of The Pierre for 12 years, and unfortunately, the past year has been a nightmare due to ongoing construction that began in 2023 and is slated to continue until 2026. The construction takes place daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, creating constant noise that has made it nearly impossible to live peacefully in this building. Residents, including myself, my wife and four children, have repeatedly voiced concerns, but management has been completely ...
      unresponsive to our complaints. The noise is not just disruptive—it’s unbearable. Many residents work from home or have children and elderly family members, and the incessant hammering, drilling, and machinery are negatively impacting our quality of life and mental well-being. Despite numerous attempts to engage building management about this issue, they have shown no interest in addressing or mitigating the problem. Their lack of transparency and accountability has left residents feeling ignored and frustrated. Additionally, the construction has created a significant dust problem that covers all residents’ cars and outdoor areas. As I am in my 60's, we along with other building residents are concerned this dust could contain hazardous debris, posing potential health risks to residents and visitors. Management has not implemented any measures to control or reduce the dust, further demonstrating their disregard for residents’ safety and well-being. After 12 years of living here, I can no longer recommend The Pierre to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-managed residential building. Unless building management takes immediate action to address these issues, including providing dust mitigation and more considerate construction practices, I fear the living conditions here will continue to deteriorate. Residents deserve better, and I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for change. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

      They are currently doing extensive concrete restoration on the parking deck and garage. This results in ear shattering, building shaking jackhammering from 8am to 4pm every weekday. This started about a year ago and is expected to continue for at least another year, and management refuses to give any concessions for the abominable living conditions. Find another building to live in if you want to keep your hearing and sanity!!!
