Do not be fooled by the showroom

We went to tour these apartments and online the pictures make the apartments look really nice, but in actuality the buildings are really old, none of the fireplaces work, there was some rotting by the showers, all the paint was peeling off of the cabinets and the hinges needed to be replaced, the floors creaked, and parking is limited to one space per apartment so if you are living with two people you have to park one car near the apartment and another car in overflow parking IF spaces are ...

available. Also they just had a water main brake yesterday and although it will probably get fixed, it was a red flag while we were touring.

The manager, Clarissa, is terrific. She has made this New Englander feel right at home. Clarissa has done an incredible job caring for the apartments and building a community here. The previous reviews are definitely outdated because in my opinion, this is a great apartment to live at. This was my first apartment where I would be living all alone and I always felt safe. The complex is always kept very clean and I never had a problem with noisy neighbors. Submitting a maintenance request was easy and simple online and the problem was always fixed within 24 hours! you decide to live here. Barry and Priyanka are absolutely wonderful! They were always very understanding. Although I pay less in rent now, I regret moving to a different apartment. If I am still in San Antonio after my current lease runs up, I will definitely consider moving back to The Palazzo. If you are looking for an apartment near the Medical Center, The Palazzo should definitely be at the top of your list.

Living in these apartments currently and I have not been comfortable since. Very unorganized very illogical. We had bed bugs in our apartments and it's been a huge mess since. We pay a pest control fee every month but for what? because when we reported we had bed bugs we had to pay 300 and bag ALL our stuf and move it. (Your best bet is to handle it on your own and not notify the office because thats 300 out of pocket isnt easy and cheap)Also they let themselves in without notifying anyone And ...

check our rooms and our beds so we came home to beds messed up and really upset because they said they found 1 or 2 bugs. But no one was home at the time so who knows. And all because of miscommunication we thought they (worldwide pest control) came and sprayed because that's what the front office told us (except one room they said) so we unbagged everything and finally got settled until worldwide came again and said they didn't spray anything . So the office got it wrong and now we had to move furniture and bag everything ALL over again. When we went to the office to talk no apology no nothing just "we got it wrong miscommunication " but no apology that I was waiting for. They finally sprayed and now 2 weeks later they have to come and check again and we have to move and bag everything again Also when you report something to get fixed you have an option for them to come fix it whenever with or without you there or to let you know they are coming and call you and schedule. So I selected for them to call me and today when I woke up I saw they came in without calling or anything I find it very unprofessional and invading our privacy. I work during the night and at home during the day and they were fixing concrete and said we wouldn't be able to have access to our apartment for one day 9 to 5 which is when I'm home and have to leave around 2 to pick up my wife from work . So they said it was one day so that day I leave and stay with my parents. When I get home they say . The company didn't come today we have to reschedule. So now I wasted gas and time and sleep for nothing and have to do it again another day . This is just my experience here and I'm over it and can't wait til the lease is up . I hope you all have a better experience than me .

LAZY MAINTENANCE

Do not rent from here. The place is beautiful and in a safe area but that's all the compliments I can give. They will be nice to get you in but once you move in they will ignore all of your request. My apartment was not ready when I moved in. It had mold in rooms and bathrooms, broken doors, the light on the porch didn't work, the storage was locked and they didn't have the key to it, the caulking in the shower bases did not match the tiles and were multiple colors. forward with their office since I moved in on 11/27/2016. It seems that the management enables the maintenance team to give excuses and choose which work they would like to perform instead of simply addressing the request. They don't seem to realize that simple things like this results in residents moving. I love the layout of the apartment but there is just no apartment worth the headache. I even contracted bronchitis shortly after and I am sure it was a result from the mold in the apartment which it took them a long time to remove and they didn't address it until I made a complaint on their webiste.
