Horrible, dirty, and dangerous
June 21, 2023Dog BM everywhere, ac is crap, maintenance takes weeks to a month to show up. Plumbing and AC maintenance requests goes weeks with no responses. Tows cars because they don't communicate with tow company. Rats at compactor and around apartments. There is police all the time because of violence and fires. Also water bill is based on the whole building not individual units, so water bill is like $200 a month. Don't trust "renovated" because the paint is peeling off walls and the washer/dryers won't ...drain the water or dry the clothes. Takes 2+ hours to dry some sheets.Property Manager Responded

July 22, 2022The Palms at Countryside 25350 US Highway 19 N Clearwater are horrible!!!You will find like 20 cockroaches every single day even if you clean a lot.The laundry rooms are extremely dirty and there is no air conditioning in them so it gets hot as hell! Outdated and poorly cared for
February 7, 2021They continue to hike up the price with nothing to show for it. The pools are in a continual state of “needing to be cleaned” so they’re constantly closed. There’s bugs, so many bugs, the appliances are outdated, the carpet with get lumps and roll, the small children with no parents outside watching them just terrorize the neighborhood. The maintenance order system online is a joke because it seems they never look at it but they also never answer the phones to place one that way. Move somewhere ...else.Property Manager Responded

December 31, 2020Should be zero stars. Moved out of need but paying for more then what it's worth. Sloppy repairs before move in. Out dated appliances. A/C crapped out not long after moving in and caused a huge electric bill from it running constantly. Water and sewer are divided for the community so its ridiculously expensive due to excessive use by others and likely many unaccounted for leaks by the out dated plumbing such as 3 handle shower valves that are not maintained and old inefficient toilets. Trash has ...been an issue since move in because they have a compactor with no directions so most people don't understand it. Once trash starts to pile you cant even get to it. Got charged $50 for allegedly leaving a bag out which they have a picture of some mail but no evidence of where it was actually located and what it looked like prior to them finding it. Never have left trash in front of it before so really hard to understand how they managed this. Door to laundry room doesn't work so anyone can get in there and have had issues with stuff being taken but they wont fix it. Overall poor experience.Property Manager Responded

I wouldn't recommend this place..
August 19, 2020Roaches overran our kitchen when we moved in. It took over a month to begin to resolve. My apartment is renovated but "halfway done" per the office lady. I pay full price for a renovated unit. You sign in your lease how you will be handled if you break your lease. It is either you automatically owe them 2 months rent or you owe them rent until the apartment is filled or until the lease is finished. They didn't clean the apartment prior to my moving in. Said it was a short time between the last ...people an us. I moved in 2+ weeks after the available date that they gave as ok to move in. It was filthy Maintenance requests are never answered. Emailing the office is useless, they don't answer that either. I have called them from my number with no answer. I called them right after the no answer with my local 2nd line number with immediate answer and then am told the same bs of it'll be soon on repairs etc. The water company that is used here charges insane rates. People come into the complex at all hours of the day and night with loud music. They usually stop to check their mail or dump trash with the music full blast and the doors open, at 2am.. The trash compacter is always full or broken and trash is out in the parking lot.Property Manager Responded

Don’t do it!!!
August 4, 2020I have been living here since February 2020. I have been putting in work orders for things I should have had prior to moving in. They take no responsibility for their shabby work and will lie and say things are fixed when they never showed. I have been requesting something as simple as fixtures for the shower’s hot and cold knobs... and still nothing. I have no lights in my dining or laundry room for going on 1 1/2 months, with no concern from office. The worst part is that it was their fault ...after they switched out the plugs (for insurance purposes only) Now my family and guest are forced to eat and speak in the dark. It’s just so much, I have been here since February and I don’t recommend this place for anyone. New management/old management still the same! I wish I would have taken the time to research this place, and since I didn’t I’m stuck in this mess!! Please do your research before moving in.Property Manager Responded

GREAT MANAGEMENT
October 25, 2019My father and I have lived here since 2012, on and off(for me.) They had pretty terrible management for a little while but the new owners/management have worked very hard to make this a better place to live. Even went as far and having WIFI at the pool! Good and bad
September 25, 2018I've been living here for over a year now and there are goods and bads. We are having a major bug issue, cochroaches since day 1, and even though the complex claims to help and sends people out sometimes, nothing we do, or no matter how much we clean, does it go away. We're in constant battle with another person in the same building that also has roaches, and we have complained a half dozen to a dozen times in the year, and all they do is "put some bait out" and say it'll fix it. It never ...does. Now we're having wasp issues, and I have called three times in the same amount of weeks, and we keep getting forgotten. Now I have to wait until Tuesday again to fix the problem, even though there are literally 50 wasps out side within stinging distant of at least three little ones. The things I like? Noise is decent. They take A/C seriously, and fix it when it breaks (though they still haven't fixed the leak in the patio), and the electric bill is low which means the house is pretty tight. We barely hear our neighbors unless someone is yelling, we don't usually hear dogs unless they're howling or barking a lot. Haven't heard babies crying unless they're outside. The commute to and from places is decent, though making a u-turn on US 19 to get anywhere sucks, and missing the turn means you need to make 2 more u-turns and 7 minutes to your trip. I'll raise my rating IF the complex takes care of the bug problem. If the bug problem is fixed, I will raise this to a 5 star, easy. I'm so sick of seeing roaches whenever I turn on a light. Stay Away!
September 14, 2017This is a terrible apartment complex, run by completely arrogant and rude management. We lived there for a year and are so glad to be out! Horrible managers and all kinds of sketchy activity. Oh, and they will absolutely keep your security deposit and ADD MORE to it when you try to leave. Dishonest and despicable. Given all of the options in the Clearwater there is NO reason to consider this awful complex.Review from Apartments.com
Do your homework before moving here
May 13, 2017My family and I have lived here for almost a year and as soon as our lease is up we're leaving! Sadly, that is the case with most people here. Police are here constantly. Previously had a meth lab explosion in one of the apartments. I see a lot of shady people constantly walking around here one of which I caught taking pictures of my 9 year old daughter. I don't feel safe here and I just wish I did a little more research before moving here. It takes forever for maintenance to respond & when ...they do it's always a quick/cheap fix. Just driving into the complex you constantly drive by a mountain of garbage because they're too cheap to install another dumpster at both ends of the complex.
