Mold, roach problem and no upgrades
November 16, 2024The apartment we rented had immediately noticed a roach problem. The AC is VERY VERY old. Doesn’t even work correctly or cool the whole apartment. The bathroom doesn’t ventilate right and creates mold on the ceiling. Explained issues to management however nothing was fixed or done. Maintenance noticed mold and did nothing about it. You will be deceived and disappointed
March 9, 2020This was my first apartment i have ever had and i must say i am very disappointed, things seem to break down for no reason at all. Water heater goes out for no reason literally not being in use the circuit breaker will cut out. they quote you what your going to pay but then sneak in extra charges through things like admin fees. Admin disappears into what seems like really long lunches and often do not tell you anything about the renovations until after they start happening. Additionally they say ...pet friendly environment having to pay a pet deposit and have specialized pet insurance. My dog had destroyed my bedroom door and nothing else. as i saw the door was just made out of some cheap cardboard i figured i would notify the staff of it. they charged me 650 dollars for the damage to the door and the carpet below it except i know that door was not nearly that price nor was the labor that they bring around. the carpet patch had a shifty job done to it and all in all they charged me that amount cause they knew my insurance "that they had recommended to me" had an upper limit of 500 dollars that they wanted to get and abuse. These people are the apartment are both artificial and hollow with claims of luxury homes on there banner but in truth empty promises. They will screw you the second they think you will be complacent to it. But through all that i have been a good tenant. I pay early every month, i keep the place clean and amazing, i pay my bills. I move at the end of march and it really couldn't come fast enough. My suggestion, Look somewhere else!Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
April 26, 2019I love that this property is located just off the beaten track and yet its so easy to get to everything I need. The people who work in the office are all very friendly and I have met a lot of nice people who live here. I moved from out of town and everything went so smoothly thanks to Tatiana. Renters Beware
September 5, 2018This is very old and poorly maintained place. It is truly overpriced with considerable escalating monthly fees. You do not want to live here the office staff is very good at blowing you off as if they care. You will find that the place is infested with all types of dogs and some that should not be in apartments. There is dog crap everywhere. Lately the grounds are a mess . Nice for the price
August 18, 2015I really like the location of these apartments. Nestled into a very nice neighborhood, but within a walk or short drive to so many shopping areas as well. Very Nice Community
August 16, 2015I really like living at The Place at Green Trails. The office people are extremely nice and helpful. Connie, the manager knows me by face and greets my by name anytime I come into the office. Even the lady that delivers the mail recognizes me. They are older, but very nice. When I first moved in I had a lot of issues with bugs, but they worked hard to get the place bug free and after a few go arounds, I haven't seen a single bug since. A place to Call Home
August 14, 2015The Place at Green Trails has been our home for the last ALMOST 5 years. I love the office staff and the maintenance people. Anything I have ever needed they have been quick to get fixed. The rent is pretty affordable and the grounds are pretty clean. I don't have any animals, but this community is very dog friendly. The only downside that I have, is the shrubs and grass in front of my apartment is HORRIBLE. I pay enough rent to be able to at least have grass for my kids to play in. I ...don't have that. Old in Katy
August 4, 2015Old apartments built in 1983 have one small pool for entire complex and no exercise room. Updates in apartments minimal with counters resurfaced and my cabinets are painted. The maintenance team is great while repair budget Pool is extremely loud and unsupervised area. Landscaping around office and pool okay beyond that no so much and complex Very dogdog friendly along with brown spots on grass ( use your imagination). Rent use to be low which compensated for apts age and lack of amenities but ...now management has rate at full market value food our area. My rent with garbage,pest control,water and sewer charges extra increased $159 month in thirteen month lease period. Parking There is small area in leasing office with two computers and printer for resident's use. Diverse resident community. So-so
July 31, 2015When we moved in several years ago, it was a quiet commmunity mostly inhabited by older renters. The complex underwent some upgrades (new roofs, hardi siding, new doors) a couple of years ago and since then, the rent has been dramatically increasing year after year. Over that time frame, more and more rude and uncourteous renters have entered the picture. Parking space is a hot commodity and there are more than a handful of people the park unused cars that never move or park on the lines taking ...up 2 spots. Also, while the complex does not have limitations on pets that are allowed, they do not do much to enforce people to pick up after their dogs once they finish their business. They occasionally put out fliers claiming a fine, but it does not do much to solve the many land mines around the property. BBQs are not allowed on the premises but there is one community grill at the pool for use. It is quite common to find cigarrette butts on the walks or in the grass around the property. First apartment
November 5, 2013I have only been living here for about three days but so far I LOVE it. The staff is very competent and very helpful! I have not noticed any bugs. I rarely hear any outside noise. No loud music from people driving or anything like that. You sometimes can hear the neighbors going up and down their stairs but nothing too unbearable. I LOVE the fact they have someone come pick up trash from your patio. The apartments are not super new, but they don't seem run down or anything like that. They are ...also very well lit at night which is another plus for me. The parking is a little odd because of where my apartment is, I have to park in the street, but it is not a big deal. There is also parking inside the complex. Complex is located inside a neighborhood and I normally always see a cop driving around at night and even during the day which also makes me feel a lot more secure! Not sure how well things get fixed, only problem I have asked about is if the apartment sliding door comes with a lock guard for either the bottom or middle of the sliding door. They said they would send someone to look at it for me, I just reported this today so now sure if they have done it yet. I also LOVE the fact the apartment comes with a washer and dryer. It is located outside on the patio in the storage unit, which comes with a lock, and is a pretty good size to store almost anything away in.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
