Beautiful building, excellent staff

Formerly a first-class hotel, the Puritan Apartments is a beautiful facility with many amenities. I’ve been here for four years. The staff is courteous and helpful. One of the staff, a guy who handles Medicare questions, reviewed my Medicare supplement coverage and suggested a better one (a MUCH better one). His advice has paid off. There are plenty of activities and support. For example, there is a regular “commodities day” where residents can go to the lobby to pick up canned goods, vegetables, ...
dry goods, etc. — all for free. One of the biggest draws for me is the little grocery store in the basement. I’m amazed at how much is available in that little space. Also, the north and south TARC bus stops are close to the corner of the building. Very convenient.
