Good, if you like being hot
June 23, 2024I wouldn’t recommend living here if you enjoy having air conditioning in the summer. I’ve lived here for several years and the AC has broken multiple times every single summer, and usually it takes weeks for them to fix. This isn’t isolated to my apartment. I hear constant complaints from other residents about this problem. They’ll put a portable window unit in as a “fix” until they finally call a professional out to put another bandaid on it until it breaks again in a few months. Sometimes, so ...many AC units break at once that they run out of portable units. Be especially careful if you have pets, it gets so hot that it is inhumane to have them in these apartments. Decent Living
April 12, 2018The location is relatively safe. It's like the "Disneyland" of Wilmington, I guess. The location beside the river offers scenic views and the area is growing all the time with new stores and restaurants. The units are pretty nice too. I only had to call maintenance to fix things about 5-6 times throughout one year of residence. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is that the slums are just an overpass away and all their clientele are able to come over and be loud and obnoxious as they walk past ...my window below.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

My first 2.5 months at JL
September 23, 2015I have been living at Justison Landing since mid-July and could not be much happier with my decision to reside here. On the surface level, the apartment itself is beautiful with a lovely open floor plan. The ceilings are high, making the rooms seem larger than they otherwise would. The layout, particularly in the kitchen, living room, and bathroom, is very spacious. The bedroom is a bit small, but I actually like the size as it makes the room feel cozy. The walk-in closet in the bedroom is also ...quite large (only complaint here is the unsightly water heater). Heat and AC (along with all other electricity) is provided by Delmarva. Thermostats are digital and can be programmed online. The apartment is well insulated and has been sufficiently cool since we moved in. Our bills are about half of what they were at my last apartment. Maintenance requests are easy to submit (online) and handled quickly. The staff are personable, friendly, and know many of the residents by name. Concierges are quick to greet you when you enter the building. One of the main concierges during the weekday is fluent in Spanish. Access to the building is gained with a swipe at the front door for increased security. Front desk signs for packages which can then be picked up until 10 PM. Trash chutes are present on every floor, along with single-stream recycling receptacles. What's more, the trash rooms are kept extremely clean; as soon as they begin to smell like garbage, they are cleaned and smell FRESH. It's sort of mystifying. There are great restaurants, museums, and entertainment a short walk away along The Riverfront and on Market Street. We have yet to have a bad dining experience.
