Renter Beware
May 19, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comI'm sad that I have to make this review. I lived here for 3 1/2 years. Starting off, I had a good experience. The location was super convenient and the space accommodated us well. Unfortunately, I have had several problems with the community in the last few years up until finally moving out. First, the residents have next to no consideration for the people around them. There have been several instances of drivers nearly running over residents due to driving too fast, heavy scent of drug usage, ...loud domestic disputes; the list goes on. I have even had to buy my own separate gym membership because the weight room and pool were both heavily restricted/closed due to residents destroying or stealing from both. Second, employee responsiveness leaves much to be desired. I had to place a maintenance request after the big snow storm last winter because the area in front of the garages was dangerously slippery. They noted that they fixed the issue almost immediately after I submitted the ticket, but nothing was done. This did not get resolved until I followed up demanding this be completed; after my fiance almost fell on the same ice. Finally, their policy on parking has gotten oppressively worse over time. I understand the need to minimize non-residents taking advantage of the parking spots, but you can do that without creating policies that punish those who actually follow the rules. If you live in a garage apartment, you and your roommate can only park in front of garage buildings, not in the other lines of parking spots. Otherwise, your car will be towed, despite being a paying resident. This makes the parking process drastically more inconvenient and also creates and unfair setting as some residents have more building space to park than others. The final straw was their most recent change, where it essentially forced residents to park in front of their garages. My roommate and I worked separate shifts, so having to rotate cars at 5 in the morning caused unnecessary inconvenience. His car also got towed once, despite being parked in the correct space, with no refund. I would not recommend this space to anyone. It has only gotten worse over time and I am glad to be moved on to elsewhere.Read More

Ripoff! Avoid!
July 31, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comBuyer beware. Property managers are sketchy as can be and will take advantage of you if possible. It started after I chose the apartment I wanted and they tried to bait-and-switch me into another unit for the same rate. Upon comparison, the new unit was in a heavy traffic area with a lot of trash surrounding it compared to the quiet, clean unit I wanted. Management was difficult to contact and deal with throughout my lease (maintenance and the other staff were great, however). Then, upon ...moving out, I gave my 60 day notice I wouldn’t be re-signing my lease, then turned in my keys 6 days early because I didn’t need them anymore. Was charged $3,500 (later reduced to $500) for an “early termination fee”. I fulfilled my lease and gave them proper notice, but because I physically handed them my keys 6 days before my lease ended I was charged and punished. I’m lucky I could afford this, but for many of my neighbors (especially the English as a second language folk) I feel like this management group takes advantage of its tenants.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded
August 5, 2025Hi, Adam Buser, we work hard to provide a fantastic experience to everyone. It's discouraging to see that you had a negative experience. Unfortunately when you break your lease you are still responsible for your lease termination fee per the lease agreement you signed when you moved in even if you put in a proper notice. The apartment is old you will hear your neighbor’s squaky and their bathroom flash. Neighbors can be so inconsiderate they turn their laundry in the middle of the night. Made so many complain regarding weed smell but no action taken. Crime is getting out control too many car theft, packages and burglary. Dumpsters always overflowing, neighbors are loud and have so many guests parking is hard to come by, there’s so many maintenance issues (stove not working, dryer steaming the laundry room, windows falling out of window frame, key/lock not working, AC broken to name a few). Apartment was barely cleaned upon move in. Residents hardly ever pick up dog poop. Half of the time my mail is put in the wrong mailbox or I ...just don’t receive it. Many of my friends who live in other apartment complexes complain about maintenance service time and management. I can honestly say RTC is amazing. They keep the property clean year round and safe during the winter by salting all the sidewalks and stairs. The 1 bedroom I live in is plenty space for one person and the amenities here are awesome. The price is on point the maintenance team is always attentive and responded within 1 or 2 days.....the leasing office staff is the best! Only improvement is the pools...the pool by the club house is open all day and night until 8pm. The other pool closes at 5pm. Be great if that was an adult (21 or older) pool after 5pm during the week......other then that the apartments provide everything 100% and this is a review from a apartment person from the past ...5 years...Read More

The complex is not safe as my car was broken into right outside my door on 2 separate occasions. There security is almost non-existent, particularly for a complex of this size. The utilities are also way overpriced as you have no choice but to use a sub-metering company rather than a company of your choosing. They'll also charge you for non-existent damages upon move out. This location is accessible to his downtown high school, my New Albany job, all major highways and shopping. Maintenance was always responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The most I've waited is two to three days over a holiday, which is understandable because they have families too. The leasing office staff I've always been courteous helpful and respectful when I communicated with them or they ...communicated with me. The walls are not there I've lived here two years and have no complaints. The utility company is contracted and yet a little pricey if you do not manage your thermostat . After learning this with my first winter and summer it was manageable the second year. I will use this in my technique at my home to save money on utility bills. I love the natural setting, the trees and the pools. I would love to stay another year unfortunately I cannot. One suggestion for RTC and other apartment complexes is to reward annual lease renewals by not increasing the rent every year, rather every other year to show appreciation for renewing your lease. Zero to low incidents, quite respectful neighbors, ample parking. I love it hear. I have only one month left before i move. I would nice back if I sell my house in the future.Read More

The front door leaked in cold air, and there was a 20 degree difference beside my door and the rest of the house. Management refused to fix it. My bedroom wall neighbors were incredibly loud and even though I called the police many times and filed 4 grievances with the management, nothing was ever done. The layout of the apartment is poor. My bedroom wall ...was adjacent to my neighbor's living room. As I feel asleep, I heard every conversation, every party, every song and every TV show. They frequently send passive aggressive notes to an entire block of apartments stating that something, "WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!!" when it is really meant to be directed toward one particular tenant. December 15, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comthe apartments are not well kept. when i moved in my AC unit was broken, my smoke detectors FELL OUT of the ceiling, my toilet leaked, my dryer didn't work, the sink was already clogged, and there were cockroaches and mold in the utility closet. the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors do. mine like to smoke pot and blast heavy metal music at 3 in the morning. i can not wait for my lease to be up so i can move out!!! definitely not worth the $750 a month for rent for a ...500 sq ft apartment, plus you pay all utilities and the residents pay the leasing office's utilities also. disappointed to say the least.Read More
