April 7, 2020Do not recommend these apartments. Washer was not replaced the first time it flooded the entire apartment, had to wait the third time it flooded for them to do something about it. Had called that day and maintenance was suppose to go that exact day according to what they told me over the phone, they didn’t show up until a week later. Do not recommendReview from Apartments.com
There's better places pay the extra couple bucks.
September 25, 2019I lived her for a long time... It was convenient (close to school, everything included in the rent and your own restroom) but don't move in here. Management sucks! You can call 20 times a day and they won't answer especially because they know you're calling to complain about something. HONESTLY I don't complain but towards the end I was fed up. They do ABSOLUTELY to help you out. While my roommates and I lived there we had 1.) our cars' windshields shattered... (WITH A ROCK) along with another ...4 cars in the parking lot. 2.) People climbing in our balcony at 3 in the morning. 3.) KEYED car (all around! not just one spot) 4.) Someone came into our apartment with a "KEY" (STRANGER, not working with verandas) while the four of us were sleeping at 2 AM. 5.) When we finally moved out they charged us multiple things that were not caused by us but them. 6.) Roommates restroom flooded. Should I keep going?Property Manager Responded

Its not that great. Honest review
March 6, 2018The verandas really invests there money on advertisement and marketing but once you move in it’s not all that great. There’s not much privacy at all, the rooms are small and it can get claustrophobic sometimes even if your an organized person. Although the unit was built in 2007 the apartments are a bit run down. Most of the appliances are cheap and always break down. Maintenance is rude and hardly ever fix any issues needed. Sometimes they don’t even complete the task at hand and fill in the ...paper work. They also come in to “check up” whenever they want so there really isn’t any privacy. They also charge you extra fees at the end of your lease term. These apartments are best suited for those who are on a budget and live near the university and just need a place to eat sleep and shower. I do not recommendProperty Manager Responded

A parent's worst nightmare!!!!!
April 16, 2017I turned in my son's apartment keys and gate clicker. We called and were still charged $200. They are real nice until you move in the place then they suck, lie and really don't care for your well being. They just want the rent and you better be on time on they continue to charge you. Stay Away.Property Manager Responded

Review from Apartments.com
They're alright.
September 16, 2015Veranda Apartments are a good place to live at but not the best or most luxurious in the area either. They advertise themselves as luxury living but really all you are just providing a variation on the average services other apartment complex around the area also provide. It's not amazing but I do like them compared to the others because it is in the little details that make it better but also not the best out there. The rent fee has raised and for a new resident the cost might out weight ...any additional amenity or service Veranda Place offers that others don't. Verandas is close and walking distance to the University and it's mostly students. They are fully furnished which beats a lot of the competition, although most of the furniture has been there for a few years, they still do their job without falling apart. The rooms are medium size so they offer ample space for one person. Medium walk in closet and a private restroom for each room. There is a level of privacy and I really like that. There are four rooms and they share living room and kitchen area along with a washer and dryer. The furniture are not the oldest nor the newest. Just be glad they offer private washer and dryer because most others around this area require to use coins at their washing station or don't provide a washing service at all. Also, they have an office open during day hours and maintenance that are always available to fix anything and won't delay on addressing any problem. This allows residents not to be concerned about water leaks, air conditioning problems for more than a day, if they were to happen. The staff is very friendly and are always hosting events so that the residents can socialize. My favorite are Taco Thursdays and Uno, the card game, tournaments. I think Veranda Place is a good place to rent if you're a college student who is looking to be renting for a short term and is not wiling to invest in furniture. This is a for a single person who is willing to pay a few extra bucks for some privacy, convenience and sees themselves using the amenities and extra services the staff overs in order to get their money's worth.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Veranda Place Apt Review
September 6, 2015Self describes as "luxury living" and to a on a budget college student it is. Rent is affordable, it is walking distance from Campus, comes furnished, and has a beautiful pool area. I have seen other apartments and can honestly say that The Veranda Place was my best bet. Definitely recommend.Review from Apartments.com
