January 16, 2026My home at The Slates at Powdersville I love my home at The Slates At Powdersville, especially since the new owners and management have taken over. The campus maintenance and landscaping improvements have made our community safe and enjoyable. The new balconies are great and I use mine as an extension of my living space. Covered in mold and bugs
November 30, 2024This place is covered in mold. Yeah it's being renovated but they're simply covering the mold up and painting over. Black mold all in HVAC. Have been complaining and trying to get help about it for 4 years. Was told to clean it out with my own vacuum. I have copd and my daughter has asthma.... That's not going to cut it. This past year has effected my health severely. Only reason they have such good reviews is bc they paid ppl to give them 5 stars. Would not recommend to anyone.... Heartless
October 2, 2024Management just got power back after the hurricane. First thing they did was remind us to pay rent by the 5th or face eviction on the 11th. A hurricane just decimated the surrounding area… and they are already threatening eviction to those impacted. Would only recommend to your enemy.Review from Apartments.com

New Management
June 26, 2024New management is so much better than who was here before. Office is actually open when they say they are open. Everyone in the office and the guys that fix stuff are so friendly and get stuff done. Grass and bushes are trimmed. Patio and balconies are being replaced and not rotten anymore. They are even painting the buildings. Nice to have people in the office that want to help you and care about fixing the problems that have been needing to be fixed for years.Review from Apartments.com
