The Social Block is really an amazing place to stay. It’s renovated. It’s not too far from campus. Rent is affordable, and honestly has better prices than most apartments around Starkville. The staff is reasonable and helpful when needed! I would recommend this place to anyone that asks.

Great, great service work crews came and fixed my problem within the next day I have had no problems after that.Good and affordable prices for a 2 bed room plus a den more extra space .

Rent is reasonable, the common area is roomy, and the pool and gym are great additions. It’s close to campus and there’s plenty of parking. I love the closet space too.

I really enjoy living in my apartment, and overall it has been a positive experience. The space itself is comfortable, the neighbors are generally quiet, and the location is convenient for everything I need day to day. The only thing I truly wish were different is the lighting in the hallways. When it gets dark outside, the building doesn’t always turn the hallway lights on right away, which can make the walk to and from my unit feel a bit dim and unwelcoming. It’s not a major issue, but it’s ...
something that would definitely improve the atmosphere and sense of safety in the evenings. Aside from that small concern, I’m genuinely happy with the apartment and appreciate the quality of the living environment. With just a little adjustment to the lighting schedule, it would feel even better.

The apartment location, price, utilities, and amenities are great for students. The pool and events like Waffle Wednesdays are amazing. Had some issues with getting maintenance out to fix appliances, but after our dryer was replaced we haven't had any issues. I wish we had internet through social block for the townhomes though, as the cell service can be bad in that area and local internet providers are spotty with blackouts.
