Management & Maintenance HORRIBLE. Overpriced Pig in Lipstick
July 6, 2024Do. Not. Recommend. I moved here in 2020 and my rent has raised $250 since then. I live in a tiny box with a window unit and no w/d. management makes excuses, not solutions. They fix the outside to lure in the unsuspecting, meanwhile tenants in my building g have windows leaking since I’ve been here, even through the refacing of the outside. That project took two summers for one building, and they didn’t even bother to replace leaking windows. They just slapped in siding and paint ...around them and told the tenants ‘tough luck’. Tenants on the ground floor have floods every time it rains. Consistently. They charge for the address but don’t live up to it. Even though I’ve been very ill and it will be a huge undertaking for me, I’ll be leaving here. Lipstick on a pig is their standard. That’s the typical response from management. Disappointing
March 23, 2023I am currently a resident and I had high hopes for this place. The water is still Disgusting after they’ve put up in new filters and “water softener”. There’s new construction going on everyday beginning at 9a sometimes earlier, with no warning at all. If you work late nights, have kids, or go to school do not move here. You’ll hear constant banging well into the afternoon. The management thinks it’s ok because they’re “upgrading” but the interior is extremely outdated. The third party doing ...outside repairs are also very rude they act like they live and pay rent here also. Whole complex just needs to be shut down.Property Manager Responded

Hard to justify living here for the price
October 31, 2022I used to live here but moved because I couldn't justify the benefits for the price they charged. Pros: 1. The leasing office team members & maintenance team were very responsive at beginning. 2. Water bill is included but it comes at a cost. 3. Friendly Neighbors Cons: 1. Constant overfilled dumpsters attracting raccoons. The raccoons damaged my car multiple times and the cost of getting that repaired was around $800; I tried critter repellent and there were no traces of food and whatnot in my ...car. 2. Appliance/Cabinets are very outdated. It actually boggles my mind that they focus on upgrading the door locks/ac system with the new smart home app you can access from your phone instead of actually making the interior better. 3. The included water is the well water. Murky/Brown/Yellow water coming out of the faucets. I did reach out to the team and the fix is to leave the water running until it's not disgusting... 4. Not sure exactly what happened but the maintenance team hasn't been resolving issues in time. 5. The air vents are very dusty. I lived on the third floor and majority of the vents were located on the ceiling. Thus, a lot of the dust when enter into me when I went to sleep. Every morning, I would spit out mucus from all the dust. 6. I don't think this is the springs fault but the power goes out frequently. I worry whenever it rains while I'm working from home because I know I'll be disconnected at some point. This is a known issue throughout Novi so I dont think this issue will be fixed anytime soon.Property Manager Responded

Zero. Rust in drinking water 24/7
August 24, 2022Zero stars.disgusting. Mold in walls. Cheap washer/dryer/white trash staff. Nothing works. At all. The scummiest living quarters, a total dump. Moved after a winter without hot water and heat- most of time. Awful water, water pressure, dirty, cheaper than cheap. Should be called sub housing, in fact sub housing is better. No heat 1/4 of winter. Avoid.leaks and holes in floors to outside. Mail issues. Parking is bogus in winter m. Unsafe. Unrealistic. Your car "will" be dented and plowed in ...before leaving for work. . Grab a bunch of friends and rent a nice home instead.Property Manager Responded

August 18, 2022Currently a resident here and while it’s not the worst place I’ve lived, it’s nowhere near where it should be. The water is well water and is TERRIBLE, constantly coming out yellow or brown, and the water softener they use is terrible too. It makes the water feel soapy and leaves a residue on your skin. Landscaping or some other outside entity is CONSTANTLY here so there is never peace and quiet. They do not enforce lease rules - trash is left everywhere for vermin to come onto the property, dogs ...bark and make noise at all hours of the day and night and they do nothing, there are tenants here with multiple dogs that are visibly over 100lbs combined yet nothing is done. Recently, they’ve started hiring TruGreen to spray chemical pesticides and TruGreen will come spray all over your patio door and patio, disregarding if you have plants or animals and don’t waste harmful chemicals sprayed on you. The hallways are never cleaned. Any “remodeling” projects that they do are never done in a timely manner and they hire the worst possible companies to do them. There was a period of time that we didn’t get mail for almost 3 months because they decided it was a good idea to remodel the stairways and staircases in the beginning of winter. It was also during Christmas time so none of the packages we needed for gifts were coming in on time as they should. The apartments are outdated, appliances are outdated, carpets are disgusting and never cleaned at lease renewal (like MOST apartments offer for free). The electricity here used to be great when we first moved in but there have been serious issues in the past couple of years with brown outs and losing power multiple times a week sometimes. Additionally, maintenance was great when we first moved in, but now? They’ve hired a bunch of new people who literally do not care one way or another. Maintenance jobs are half-a***d and never done right so the “repairs” don’t stick for long. The only good thing about this place (besides the ducklings that they’ve decided to poison with TruGreen) is the cheaper rent. Which isn’t even the case anymore as they keep raising rent each year but never give residents anything for the raised rent. The only reason we resigned a lease here this year is because it’s not in the budget to move for us this year. Wish it was though. This place is terrible.Property Manager Responded

The worst

WORSE
November 4, 2021Please listen when you see this review. The apartment I moved in was so nasty! Hair every where hair in the sink, closet, refrigerator, washer, dryer. Hair was even in the cabinets!!! It smelled soooo bad like they shampoo the carpet with dirty soap water. Water is sooooooooo nasty don’t even bother buying a filter. The WORST apartment and staff at leasing ever...!!
August 18, 2021It was a nightmare to think I have to live here for whole year to complete lease. Because within first months itself I got really bad experience living here. Such as, The apartment I moved in was way dirty, smelly, half of the stuff broken/non-functional. - Electricity bill is always above $200. - Water is yellow & soapy. NOT SAFE TO DRINK. - RUDE STAFF at leasing. - Maintenance services is always delayed by a month, that too after fighting with them, they will show up and do not repair ...completely. - And many more flaws and issues. - Do not live in Springs apartment ever.Property Manager Responded

Would not recommend
May 26, 2021My last review seems to have disappeared lol, so let's see if this one sticks. I do not recommend living here. At least a few times a month the water turns gross brown/orange/yellow. Rarely do we get a heads up. I've lost count of times I've woken up and gone to shower/get some water, only to find it discolored. It has been so bad that it stained our bathtub. If I would have known about this issue and how pervasive it was, I would absolutely not have moved in. Management needs to either get this ...fixed or lower the rent and be more transparent about this issue.Property Manager Responded

Water is a MESS
April 22, 2021I have lived here since fall of 20... less than a year, and the water has needed “flushed” 4x. This means our water is unusable for HOURS. No cooking, no laundry, no showering, as the water is red/orange with minerals. I totally understand it needs to happen every once in a while, but it started last night at 7 and STILL HAS NOT BEEN CLEAR... it’s 10am the next day. My clothes will most likely be ruined as we were not given a window of when to expect this, so I ran a load of laundry. Do NOT Bother
April 9, 2021I have lived here for about a year and it is not worth the price that they charge. The water is from their well system so it is always yellow (even with filters). If you are trying to shower the water will either burn you or be ice cold. Also, good luck if you need anything fixed.Property Manager Responded

Just what we were looking for!
November 30, 2020This complex was recommended to me by a few people I know that live here! This place is great! The layout of the apartment is perfect. The view with all the ducks on our pond is great. Amenities are awesome! Although the washer and dryer we have in our apartment is small it still works we just have to do multiple loads.
