poor management
February 3, 2023Rude/lazy managers do not pick up trash at all. All you have to do is look at walls in main building to see they do not like to pay for maintenance. Always have same problems with pool, grill & basically all amenities with the excuse being were working to fix them however they cant be fixed b/c they were all installed wrong just like everything else. If you want to turn on emergency heat all winter & get charged as much as cost heat a house then this is spot for you.Property Manager Responded

POOR PLANNING
February 13, 2021I schedule appointment through there text message phone number and was told I was good for 10:30 AM. I received a phone call from there tour personal saying I’m not scheduled and was told I wasn’t scheduled that day. Which I have screenshot proof of my scheduled appointment. If you do text this phone number call them because obviously the person running the text message line has poor time management skills. How can I trust an apartment complex that can’t even schedule appointments properly?Property Manager Responded

Highly Recommend This Stunning Apartment
August 13, 2018I have been living at the Sterling for a little over a year and have nothing but positive things to say. The units are spacious, modern and very homely. The sidewalks around the property allow me to walk my dog with ease. The convenient location allows me to walk to pick up groceries, get a hair cut or grab a quick bite to eat without starting my car. The Sterling has created a growing community feel, that I am happy to call home. I would recommend moving here to anyone!Property Manager Responded

Feels Like Home
March 25, 2018After making the decision to sell my home I began searching for an apartment in Ankeny. I looked at several before finding The Sterling. Since I was bringing along my dog most places I looked into either had weight restrictions or no pets allowed. I was pleased to find The Sterling was pet friendly and would allow my dog no problem. My apartment is a one bedroom unit and is generally larger than most two bedroom places I had previously viewed.The units overall are well designed, well finished ...and the amenities are great. The staff is very prompt to respond to any issues or questions. The security here gives me peace of mind. Both my dog and I are very happy and comfortable living here.Property Manager Responded

March 23, 2018I was in need of a place to move in quickly and the staff did everything they could do get me in the following day! The apartments are modern and classy and I fell in love immediately. August 5, 2017Yes my place was not clean from construction. But I took pictures. I looked at at of places and this is the most affordable. It is roomy and quit. Love it.Property Manager Responded
