rude leasing

1 star — Extremely unprofessional management
We visited The Tolman twice, and both experiences with the same leasing agent were completely unacceptable.
The first time, she arrived late and rushed our tour because she claimed she had another appointment. The second time, we arrived for a scheduled tour and found the leasing office completely unattended. We waited nearly an hour, called repeatedly, and received no response. Maintenance told us she had gone to rest because she was not feeling ...
well. When she eventually returned, she gave a completely different excuse and blamed the previous visitors for taking too long.
What made the situation far worse was her attitude. She offered no apology, took no responsibility, and immediately accused us of “arguing” simply because we asked why she had disappeared during our scheduled appointment. She then rudely told us that our only choices were to tour immediately, reschedule, or leave.
Mistakes and emergencies happen, but lying, blaming other customers, abandoning the front desk, and treating prospective residents with hostility are not acceptable—especially at a property marketed as “luxury.”
This experience raises serious concerns about the overall management of the building. If the leasing office can be left completely unattended without notice and prospective residents are treated this poorly before signing a lease, it is difficult to trust that residents will receive reliable help when they have an urgent maintenance, access, package, or security-related issue.
Luxury finishes mean nothing without responsible, trustworthy, and respectful management. Based on what we experienced, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

For someone who moved out for the first time, choosing to live in the Tolman is one of the best decisions ever. It gives you the feeling of going home to what feels like a hotel. From the beautiful modern look, to the amenities, cleanliness, management, security, and just the overall luxe feel— just gives me more than enough reason to say that though it’s only been almost a month since I moved in, it has been a good decision. within the area, but given that the Tolman is new, living in a unit as a first resident and all the good stuff I mentioned, I think it is a deal and well worth it.
