    The Val provides overpriced apartments with promised amenities broken before you even move in. My air conditioning in my unit has not worked properly since the day I moved in and only temporary fixes have been made. The maintenance team has been polite and helpful in ways they can, but no permanent fix has been made in my first two months here. They installed window units as a temporary fix, and between those and the fact that when the air does go out while I’m away and continues to blow the fans ...
    trying to cool the apartment, my energy bill has likely significantly increased. Considering I moved in at the beginning of the summer, I would hope to have working A/C, but most days I return home from work to an apartment that is close to 80°. Cell service is also terrible inside the building.

    The Val is a great community, that combines the feel of down town Boston and the freshness of suburb leaving. Strategicaly located close to major highways, -95 and 495, and major shopping centers. It offers great amenities, gym, work space, pool, fireplace and burbacue areas are my favorite. If you love hotels, leaving at the Val will give you that feel as well.?

    Overall, The Val is a nice apartment complex that provides many amenities to their leaseholders. Although there are some areas that could be improved, the staff seems to care about their residents and they do what they can to improve their living experience.

  • Don't do it!!!

    Not a safe building. Terrible management. Drug addicts hanging out in the garage. Cigarette smoking in the stairwells. Half the amenities not functional. Scarily bad reaction to a fire in the building a few months ago. Elevators and garage doors constantly broken. Constant and loud construction. Worst mistake I've made renting here. Save yourself the trouble. Plenty of similar places nearby.

    I have always found the entire staff to be so nice and very knowledgeable in their knowledge of the complex and so helpful. I was a bit skeptical about moving to Billerica alone but I very quickly felt completely at ease and I am enjoying my life here

    We have been at The Val for nine months now! It is home away from home and is the first apartment in the country. We felt drawn here initially and are so grateful for the good experience of living here. Maria and the staff have been excellent. They are a huge reason why we are enjoying our stay. They are on top of any issues/maintenance immediately. They keep on top of keeping the place up to date and are so lovely! We are so lucky to be here.
