The Worse Management in the Bay Area
October 19, 2024I lived here in a 2 bedroom for three years. They overcharged for garbage, water, sewer about $250 per month in addition to overpriced rent and other hidden fees (such as admin fees for processing your bill). None of the extra fees are clearly disclosed when you sign the rental contract. Mail and Bike theft is common. Most people move out as soon as their initial lease is over ( or sooner) because by then residents realize how much extra they are paying extra for hidden fees. To top it off ...Management is never there and you can only speak to them through the receptionist, who has an attitude problem. Management turnover is also very high. hey change year. Do NOT rent here and save yourself a headache and money !!!!Property Manager Responded

Not secure and hidden fees
November 22, 2021My wife and I made our 2b/2b cozy. The maintenance crew was prompt, courteous, and efficient. The rent was competitive. But, beware of thieves. We paid over $200 for monthly garbage and water/sewer fees (for 2 people!) We kept our apartment clean and left it in great shape. But only a little over $100 of our $700 security deposit was returned. Moreover, our mail boxes were broken into several times and our locked bikes and bike parts were stolen 3 times. The company denied any responsibility for ...providing better security ( no cameras, no secured mail boxes, no night security patrols). Even though we felt cozy in our nice apartment, we never felt safe with our possessions, never felt that the company responded to our safety and security concerns, and never felt the exorbitant hidden services fees were justified. Ok apartment, bad management
August 14, 2020The apartments themselves are decent. The management is the worst I've ever dealt with. Package theft from the mailbox area is frequent and common. Bike theft isn't uncommon, even when your bike is locked up well. The parking lot gate is broken frequently, so anyone can just walk right in. Management doesn't do anything to address these problems besides repairing the gate when it predictably breaks 1-2 per month. On two occasions, one of the maintenance workers just walked in to our apartment ...during the middle of the day when we were working from home. And a couple other times attempted to walk in but our door was locked. After we moved out, they took stuff from our security deposit that made no sense like insufficient notice and extra rent, even though we gave them 30 days notice and paid the rent in advance that they said we owed on our move-out agreement.
