Disheartened Tenant
September 17, 2024This apartment complex is pretty nice in terms of rent to space, and locations. They are also good on repairs, but new management does not seem to care about providing a peaceful and quiet place to live. Which is really important to me and my family. Construction in rental units start as early as 6 am and if you call them for help they say they can't do anything about it and its not every day that they remodel. Then go on to say yard work happens several times a week and begins at 7am. She knows ...from personal experience. Which is kind of contradictory. They really don't seem to care if you have a valid reason to request a later time for remodeling like 8am. Management says they can start as early as 6 am, but noise and construction ordinance for Lisle location is 7am-9pm. So I don't see how that works out. When I spoke to the building manager, she seemed dismissive. Like some how my asking for help was unreasonable. This was my first time calling for help in the 4 years I have rented here. May 12, 2023Pros: - The backyard to the woods is nice. - Rent is cheap. Cons: - 7 mice in last 4 months (8 total in 3 years) - Bee & stink bug removal is needed at the end of summer - A tree was on my back porch during July for a month before getting maintenance to remove it. - 2 water leaks in the bathroom in the last 6 months - Smoke smell in the hallway 24/7 - 0 apologies from staff and just generally ill-mannered and disrespectful with issues.Review from Apartments.com

My first place
October 2, 2015Being on my own at 20 is a bit scary but I'm finding my way.First of all I would say stay in close contact with the rental office on what they will and will not do for you.Don't assume that any problems you may have will be corrected immediately.Before moving in make a check list of the apartment of any things that need attention to like painting,stained carpets,windows or doors that may not work properly,also make sure all your appliances work.Present your list to the rental agent have them make ...a copy and make sure they sign and date it,get your copy.Make sure you check about parking areas and if permits are needed so you don't wake up one morning and find your car has been towed.Most of all make sure if any work needs to be done in your unit that they call you to let you know when they will be there,or you may wake up one morning with a stranger in your home ready to do some work.Hope this is helpful,for the most part I'm very happy with my first place.The pool is also a plus,and shopping and transportation near by make my life easier.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

September 23, 2015Nice cozy townhouse in downtown lisle. It's not that spacious but it's comfortable, with a washer and dryer in my unit and a playground for the kids and a fitness center for adults. It has 2 levels with a dishwasher. Close to the Metra and the park district. I'm also near l88 and 355 highway.Review from Apartments.com
