MICE!!! MICE!!! MICE!!! Stay away!! Please beware these are not luxury apartments and you pay luxury prices. This place has many issues. The floors are cheap vinyl and they crack randomly. I’ve had them replaced twice in a year. I’ve had to constantly fix things myself because the quality just isn’t there. The closet doors are constantly getting fixed because the rails are old/broken. Lastly, MICE!!! We’ve had an exterminator come work on this issue multiple times! They’ve patched holes inside ...
and outside the apartment but the issue continues. They blame neighbors and simply say they will send someone else out. It’s an embarrassment to have mice traps all over the apartment, even when your apartment is spot clean, and believe me we CLEAN constantly. The leasing office and management simply don’t see it as a problem.

Good: close to shops and businesses, lands are kept up with nicely, neighbors and kids were friendly.
Bad: termites hatched in our bathroom 2 years in a row, I have emails and photos. We were told the first time it happened that the issue was solved, but it happened again the next year. Hoping it was actually resolved. Heat stopped working in winter and maintenance didn't come out for 3 days. Management doesn't care about raising the price of rent $100 or more a month each year. letter expressing my disappointment that our monthly rent was raised by an additional $170 before ending our lease and they essentially just said good luck in the future. Didn't seem like they cared. The apartments seem nicely updated on the surface but they paint over light switches and don't install trim or lights correctly. Lots of things falling apart or broken, vents being installed incorrectly and our tub leaked for months and maintenance couldn't figure it out. My husband ended up caulking the tub on his own. Very frustrating time. Couldn't even stay there for 2 years. Be wary. You pay for the location but unfortunately not much else. Speaking with our neighbors there, it turns out they had a lot of issues as well.

We lived in the 2 bed 1 bath model 2018-2021. The apartment was renovated prior to move in but not in high quality fashion (poor paint job, loose cabinet hinges). The grounds are well kept but the building common areas need updating (rusty, stained steps and damaged doors). We had in unit washer/dryer so no experience with the shared units. There is an issue with pest control. There are a lot of squirrels on the grounds that damaged our deck furniture, chewed through the gas line in one of our ...
cars (costly repair) and on more than one occasion got inside of our air vents. We were on the third floor and also had a lot of bees/wasps on our deck in the summer months. The air conditioning units are also inefficient. In the summer months it will run continuously resulting in $300+ electric bills. Perks are location and proximity to Patco. Also a generally peaceful neighborhood with lots of places to walk around. Jess in the main office was always responsive when we had an issue.

I moved in Fall 2020. I thought it was a good deal. Come find out why as the apartment was a really bad shape. Looked like they hadn’t changed the air filter in years. Rotted drywall in kitchen behind cabinets and stove meant lots of insects. One weekend the kitchen got flooded because the pipes in the service closet look all rusted. Top it all off, in a building with 12 units sharing 2 laundry machines and driers, one drier broke down in November 2020 and still hasn’t been fixed 5 Months ...

I loved at the Vista for two years.
Pros: conveniently located to PATCO, 295, NJ Turnpike
Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby
Cons: overpriced
Need to be gutted to the studs and completely redone
Electric bills are absolutely insane
The washer/dryer combo takes about 6 hours for one load of laundry to wash and dry.
We also had a 2 bed 2 bath and in the summer months were paying around 450$ in electric bills for a 900 square foot apartment. The area is nice but you can find better places ...
around for 3-400$ less. The apartments look nice at first, but we soon realized that there was a lot of shoddy work done to the place to get it to be livable. The moldings on the doors and flooring are scraped up, chipped and they just repainted over it. The HVAC systems in the apartment need to be updated. The systems are way too small to cool the apartment so they constantly run (literally 24/7) and therefore the electric bill skyrockets. Maintenance takes awhile to come out to address any issues, but that’s more on management. The maintenance guys are very overworked. Management should look into hiring more guys. Overall, the place was okay. However, I would not move back here.

From the beginning, my experience living here was exceptional. Angela was amazingly kind, patient, and professional while dealing with my hectic schedule. The apartment was updated, clean and cozy. The grounds were well kept and the people were friendly. The apartment was quiet, convenient, and the water pressure was awesome, if that's your thing.

Not understanding of Student Schedules- RowanSOM/Cooper Students Beware

I was so excited to move into the Vista for my second year attending medical school down the street at RowanSOM. I am a student who sits on the admissions leaders and great things were spoken about the Vista. I was so sure that I would be satisfied that I signed a 13 month to avoid having to move again during my 4 years of medical school. However, for rotations next year, the school unexpectedly moved me to a rotation site not in South Jersey. I provided a signed note from the Dean to the Vista ...
Corporate office to allow me to end my lease after 11 months without paying the hefty breakage fee. However, they were not understanding, flexible, or considerate of the fact that we are medical students with no income, maxed out on loans with no income to come up with this now unexpected additional fee.
I STRONGLY recommend that you stay away from the Vista and look into The Village, Foster Square, Brookview Manor, Glen Eyre, or The Club at mainstream, who have been able to fully accommodate my classmates in similar situations.
Minor other complaints that I would overlook if they had good service: the plumbing backs up all the time, the dryer does not work at all, the dish washer runs for like 3 hours just for one load which increases utilities, their facilities is so slow in responding, their parking lots do not have enough spots to park especially if you're at school studying late or on a late shift at the hospital, the neighbors are very loud with music and the smell which makes it inconvenient if you want to study at home. Lastly, their corporate office is not that responsive when you speak with them and other classmates have had these problems too.
Worst comes to worst if you do decide to stay with the Vista I would recommend signing a 6 month lease at the time regardless of any specials they are offering you, it is not worth the inconvenience and the LACK OF FLEXIBILITY this apartment complex offers.

I've lived here for the last 2 years and am just moving out. Our apartment was an upgraded 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit.
The space itself was perfect for 2 people. Floors were nice but do scratch easily. Kitchen is pretty as well. The counter does stain in the kitchen, but any stains are easily removed with a magic eraser. Parking was also never a problem. The only thing I would say is don't park under the trees; in the morning it will be covered in droppings.
As far as the management office ...
goes, no complaints. I send my check in every month and rarely have a need to communicate with them. I had travelled quite a lot and forgot to pay once or twice, but I simply apologised and they waived any penalties. The owners did change 2-3 times during the time as well so things could be different going forward.
Maintenance is effective when they're around. They seem incredibly backed up, so it can be hard to get someone over to fix stuff.
Utilities are really well priced. I maybe spent $50/month on everything. Internet was expensive! Comcast is the only provider available.
All in all, I'd live here again.

This is the worst apartment that I have ever lived in.. the rent is not cheap... the apartment is supposed to be upgraded... however you see shoddy workmanship all around..
The maintenance dept is terrible to put it mildly .. the washer and dryer in ALL units is a joke and acknowledged as such by vista management. They just cannot dry clothes .. the bathroom door is coming by hand ... the apartment leveling is poor ... and adds to the issue with drain clogs and leaks
