I love how close it is to downtown and to Westfield State. Makes commuting much simpler when everything is so close. Apartments were modern and they allow dogs. They love the dog park and making friends. Staff is great and maintenance is really quick. If I lived in the area still I would pick here to live again and again

If you are moving to the Westfield area please make sure to give the Willows complex a good look. You won’t regret it. Their units are comfortable and attractive. Pets are not only allowed, but their ownership is facilitated by a cute dog park and easily available dog waste bags and receptacles for disposal. And the grounds staff works hard to keep the area well maintained and do a good job of it. The support staff in general, are responsive and capable. Brooke in the office, in particular, ...

is excellent at her job. After renting from a variety of places over the last 20 years, I find their service ethic a remarkable plus. At this writing, I’ve lived at the Willows for seven months and am glad I chose to move here.

Too Expensive

So what people aren't telling you about the pet policy is that there is an almost weekly newsletter that goes out reminding those with dogs that it is not maintenances job to pick up after the tenants dogs. Unfortunately these reminders aren't working because it just keeps happening there's absolutely no consequences for tenants who don't pick up after their dogs. What people aren't also telling you is that those who own the Willows completely took advantage of an already challenging financial ...

time for so many by increasing their rent by $200 to $300 a month. Every month several tenants are moving out because of the sudden and unfair increase in rent. The washer and dryer situation is always a mess too one or the other is either not working or eats your money. The leasing manager tries but let's face it this all starts at the top and the top doesn't really seem to care to fix it well. Maintenance is okay too except most of their fixes are just Band-Aids not actual fixes. Example - last summer there was a huge white faced hornet's nest hanging from a tree and instead of getting an exterminator to take care of it maintenance went with the idea of spraying it down with a hose completely letting several hundred white-faced hornets go which could have easily stung someone who was allergic or one of the many dogs that reside here. Is it pretty here sure is it quiet sure but honestly they're increasing the price without increasing the quality.

While the spacious rooms, ample closet space, and beautifully furnished kitchens are nice- it is the staff that really makes this place a cut above the rest. The willows has significantly improved over the years. They have a 24 maintenance hotline & regular maintenance as well. They’re extremely quick & speedy, and fix anything when needed. My heat/hot water work great (and have for years). The grounds are very well kept, and there’s trails for the dogs in the back which we love. Everyone is always very friendly & nice. Our unit is also very updated. All appliances work very well

The grounds are well kept. The staff are nice. But my apartment is nothing like what they show online. My kitchen is outdated (late 80's early 90's) and my appliances don't work well and they won't replace them. The basement floods and they don't clean it up. Laundry facilities leave a lot to be desired. Dirty machines and awful smelling. Windows are drafty and cold in the winter. The free heat and hot water is nice but th heat doesn't always work. There is a new dog park that is nice if you ...

have a dog but there is nothing for kids, no place for them to play. Parking is very tight and sometimes there is a lack of spaces in the winter especially. I feel it is overpriced for the condition and amenities.
