Great Place!!
December 27, 2023I couldn't be happier with my experience at this apartment complex! From the moment I stepped in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The amenities are top-notch – from the modern gym to the beautiful dog park. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-maintained, and the location is fantastic, close to everything I need. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the sense of community here is wonderful. Worst apartment complex for college student (or anyone)
February 19, 2023I'm a student at UNI and I lived here for only one semester. It was a terrible experience. The apartment complex is very old so you can hear every footstep and it's unbearably loud. People at the front desk and maintenance were taken back at the noise level when they checked it out, but nothing was ever done. I was woken up every single morning at 5:30am to my neighbors simply getting ready for the day and couldn't get to sleep at night- they weren't necessarily the problem. Told management about ...it and they didn't do anything. The space that was provided from Thunder Ridge was uninhabitable because I was disrupted every single day I lived there. I had recordings of the sounds of the creaking, sent it to management, and they didn't do anything - no response from them and no financial compensation. I had the worst headache from living here and dealing with management. The woman at the front office repeatedly said management was going to reach out....never did. Didn't care about any of it. Not angry, just extremely disappointed. I 100% would not have rented here if I knew how extremely terrible the living conditions were, but the neighbors weren't home when I toured the apartment so I didn't get to gauge the noise level from above. Wish I had never lived here - made my last semester in college dreadful.Property Manager Responded

Very nice place!
January 18, 2022My husband and I have been living here since November 2017 and have been very satisfied. The maintenance staff fix things immediately, the office staff are pleasant and helpful, and in the winter the snow is promptly plowed in the parking lots and the street running through the complex. The grounds are nicely kept up, and the views of the adjoining wooded area and nearby ridge are beautiful. I even had a "conversation" with a couple of deer near the office once. January 17, 2022I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Thunder Ridge Apartments and their staff! During my time at Thunder Ridge, I felt nothing but cared for by the team. If I submitted a minor maintenance request, it was done within 24 hours…WOW! You do not find that kind of customer service for an apartment complex. When I was home and maintenance came in, it felt like family. They would ask about things going on in my life. My dog LOVED them! Julie and Sally in the office are simply great. Not ...once did I ever feel like a burden calling and asking a question. Snow removal is nice! It snowed on Friday night and by Saturday morning the drives and sidewalks were already cleared off. They just want your money.
November 22, 2019Loved the location, strongly dislike the management. Apartments are over priced for the quality that you get. My oven didn't work the full time I lived there. They also charged me $300 in cleaning fees after I cleaned my apartment before moving out. On top of that, they charged me extra on rent the last month just so they didn't have to refund me my security deposit.Review from Apartments.com
Quiet Location
