Worst Apartments EVER!!!
June 10, 2024I moved out in October of 2023. Called several times mostly getting the answer machine and no call back. 1. There is nothing in this apartment complex that would make it luxury. Cheap everything- fans, lighting, carpet, vinyl floors not installed properly, think layers of paint, cheap appliances. This was by far the cheapest looking apartment I've ever lived in and the most expensive. 2. Getting someone to answer you back is impossible unless you go to the office in person. 3. STILL ...have not had my deposit returned. No damages, and left it cleaner than when I moved in- probably there easiest turn around. I would give negative stars if I could!Property Manager Responded

the management team are the worst
July 31, 2017I just "looked" at their model unit. The staff did not rven bother to show me the facilities - fitness center, pool, etc. They are really rude and unbeleivably unprofessional. Pet filth
June 13, 2016Awful experience, would not recommend at all. Staff is very nice to get you sign the lease and location is great, but good luck once issues arise. I moved into an apartment that had new carpet and paint- great I thought.. but they carpeted over cat urine and painted over pet hair! My pictures speak for the experience. There was dust and pet droppings everywhere, even the washer had pet dander(and wouldn't go away no matter how many cycles I ran it). If you have allergies, or don't want to live in ...filth I highly recommend you look elsewhere! We only lasted 4 days before our doctor recommended we get out for our children's health. Light Bulbs
March 2, 2016I have lived at Lakeside for years. I'm responsible for replacing the light bulbs. I have been replacing my light bulbs with high quality energy efficient LED light bulbs. These light bulbs not only looked nice, but saved me on my energy bills, and were good for the environment. The only downside is that they were quite expensive, about 25$ per bulb. Then it happened. Management decided that everyone's light bulbs needed to be changed to their fit THEIR tastes, not the residents. They removed all ...my light bulbs (nine in total), and replaced them with extremely low quality LED light bulbs. Honestly, these lights look cheap and probably are. The lighting is terrible, it seriously looks like a trailer park lighting in here now. In addition, two of my track lights have been removed altogether. Lakeside has sacrificed quality for quantity. How would anyone know how good their apartments looked in this kind of lighting? Here's the kicker, my more expensive lights are gone. Why? I get that LED's are energy efficient, that's why I bought them, before Lakeside ever thought about it. However, I have a say in how my home is managed. I pay the bills, not Lakeside. I want the two track lights returned. The cheap light bulbs gone, and my old light bulbs returned. Pretty good location for Lakeland.
September 4, 2015I moved here from Texas not knowing the area very well and did not realize how bad the traffic on I-4 into Tampa would be. I work in Tampa and the aggravation of I-4 is not worth it. The apartments are pretty good with a couple of exceptions. I hate berber carpet and that is what the apartments have. I didn't realize that because I could only judge by pictures when I was looking for a place from Texas. The area is nice with close shopping and close proximity to the tollway. I've not been ...particularly impressed with the office staff. When I moved in, the apartment wasn't very clean. I had to request they clean the carpet again because there was obviously an animal in the apartment before I moved in based on my allergies. The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside, especially on the shelving. The floor had paint specks all over it and they were not particularly concerned about it. The toilets were stained and I eventually got them cleaned with a lot of elbow grease. They also opted to shut the pool down in the middle of the summer for supposedly something that posed a risk that was not obvious to me. Lastly, the complex was bought by another company and the staff did not handle the transition well. The gates did not work; the online payment option was not immediately available; and when they switched the gate openers, they had the nerve to say if you wanted the better ones (which the new company uses as standard because I rented from the same company in Texas) they charged $50 each for the openers.Property Manager Responded

Great location and nice amenities
August 12, 2015Being walking distance away from Lakeside Village is the biggest sell. Where else in Lakeland can a night out not involve driving your car 10-15 min to a destination? The apartment complex itself can boast about a scenic pool and gym that will fit most people's needs. This all of course comes at a higher price.Property Manager Responded

August 9, 2015This is the perfect location for an apartment. Local boutiques, grocery shopping, highways, movies, and apparel. It's all here. Nicest Apartment Complex in the area...
