Life at Traditions at Fort Mill

I have lived in an apartment at Traditions at Fort Mill for the last nine months. I am new to South Carolina and had no friends here prior to the move. Living here I have met some wonderful people. We have communal spaces to gather for visits, card games, barbecues and other activities. Staff are very responsive, and any minor issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. I haven’t had any major issues. Management has arranged several gatherings, such as a summer barbecue, a fall feast, ...
holiday deserts in December and bingo monthly. Residents have also organized a New Year’s Eve party, a Super Bowl party and bi monthly happy hours. I tend to be a bit introverted but have managed to find events that get me out of my apartment and socializing. As long as the rent stays within my budget, I intend to renew my lease.

After having owned several houses over the years, I was cautiously optimistic when deciding to move to an over 55 rental community. I chose Traditions - Fort Mill because it met all of my living needs as well as being located convenient to shopping, support, recreation and all of the other services that are important to us seniors. I escaped from Charlotte NC to Fort Mill SC over 2 years ago because of the crime, traffic, the never-ending sirens and the high cost of everything. I now live at Traditions, a senior living apartment complex and for me, it's as close to Paradise I've ever experienced. The employees are the absolute best, and the tenants are even better. My mother-in-law moved up from Florida and I can say we found the perfect apartment at Traditions! The apartment is clean, inviting and so attractive. I could not be happier

I have lived at Traditions for almost 1 year and cannot say enough good things. First of all, the staff is wonderful. They are friendly and very helpful. They keep us up to date with everything that is going on and the few changes that have occurred. When I have gone to the office I am greeted with a smile and any concern I have had was addressed and quickly taken care of if needed. Traditions is more of a community, than an apt complex. Everyone is so friendly and looks out for each other. ...
There are social events if you are interested, which really help you to get to know other residents. I cannot recommend Traditions enough, esp if you want no home owner responsibilities, any needed repairs are taken care of after a quick call, I may love that part the best.

It was home away from home

We had to evacuate from Western NC due to Hurricane Helene and it was a stressful time for us. The management staff was so helpful and caring in getting us signed in. Our apartment was spotless and we felt at home immediately. The support staff and residents were very friendly and helpful. We will recommend Traditions at Fort Mill to any of our family and friends.

I love my space!

Unlike other apartment complexes Traditions is just three buildings making it more of a small community than a complex with helpful neighbors and neighbors who become friends. The staff is responsive and the on site Maintenance is a plus. I lived in a much bigger and oversized complex when I moved down here and never felt more isolated. We really enjoy living here. Our apartment is comfortable and well appointed, with good sized rooms including a laundry room and walk-in closet. The community facilities include elevators in every building, a gym and a swimming pool, and there are common areas where the residents can get together, which they regularly do.
