WARNING TO ALL CONSIDERING TRAILS OF WALNUT CREEK:

Unfortunately I had to stay at these apartments for one year before my lease was up. The office was nice enough when they knew I was a potential renter, but once the lease was signed they were rude and uncaring of any issue I had. I was sent photos of a remodeled unit and was promised those photos were the unit I would be moving into, but upon arriving on site my unit was old, not remodeled, and not what was advertised. Other issues I encountered in my one here on site: -Water Shutoff regularly ...
for “repairs” with short or no notice to fix old pipes instead of replacing them -Cockroaches. EVERYWHERE. -Broken glass in the parking lot on a regular basis -Cars broken into -Pool was NEVER open for the entire year, despite apartment advertising it as a main amenity -Unclean laundry facilities with more than half machines out of order -Unsafe broken stair cases for months, blocked off as an OSHA example from hell -Random nails/sharp objects just laying around the whole property, hurt my dog’s paw -Animal poop EVERYWHERE, never cleaned by residents and left by maintenance to cook in the Texas sun (yummy) -Garbage fires in the dumpsters on a REGULAR basis. Save yourself and spend your money elsewhere.

Management Improvements

A much better manager was hired in the past year, or so, and bringing significant improvements. This manager, Cristy, has been excellent. She has been extremely responsive to my requests for repairs, and goes above the call of duty, to see that my needs are being met. The property itself was built in the 1980's, so I'm giving it an average rating. The landscaping has always been kept pretty nice. Once a lease expires, they have begun making upgrades to the interiors, before renting them out ...
again.
