POOR MANAGEMENT
January 14, 2025Management collected my application fee and never even looked at my application. I applied over 2 weeks ago. After the first week I reached out to them and they didn’t even attempt to look at my application and once I told them they said they’ll be in touch they still didn’t. May 16, 2023Turtle cove is really great place to live. Located right in the heart of Westland, and close to the freeways. My unit 2bed 2ba was great it came with updated kitchen appliances, for a fair price. I’ve never had any problems ever and I’ve been here for 6 months.Property Manager Responded

Poor, Unprofessional, Rude Management
June 9, 2020If you are looking for someplace to live with nice management, this is NOT the place. Everyone who works in the office constantly has a chip on their shoulder. If you have questions about your lease, you're better off consulting someone else before calling the office. The staff will get irritated with you and the encounter will leave you feeling uncomfortable. We've been here for a few years and it's gotten worse over time.Review from Apartments.com
Worst complex I ever stayed in...
September 15, 2018If your okay with roaches, AFC Businesses in the complex that leave garbage bags with soiled briefs and bed pads outside the door in the staircase then this is the place for you! Lol.. You pay for all utilities with additional fee for washer/dryer $45.00, pest control $3.00, trash removal $3.00 and renter's insurance. Why are there roaches if you pay monthly for pest control? They claim they exterminate 2x a month so technically you shouldn't see a spider. You get chewed up blinds from the prior ...tenant and cut across the bottom to make sure the ones in the bedroom have proper length. I broke my lease after 2 weeks of being moved in. I usually don't leave reviews but this place is not worth the money there charging. P.S. Very outdated toilets that are chipping on the inside of the bowl. Shower head and shower knobs with mold. Not worth the price...at all!
September 2, 2018Look elsewhere! I have lived at this apartment complex for seven years and rates have gone up significantly since Timberland has taken over management. I am gladly moving out...finding an affordable, nice, clean, all utilities except electricity, 1 bedroom apartment in a nearby city ...and will be paying $200 less per month! There are other apartment complexes out there folks...do your due diligence and scope out other places BEFORE you sign your lease!Review from Apartments.com
Nice Area, Average Apartment
August 14, 2015This is a perfect area... close enough to everywhere you want to go, but in a nice residential neighborhood. The apartment is very spacious. It has the largest bathroom and walk-in closet of any apartment I have ever had. Though the staff is very nice, they are slow to respond to maintenance requests. A recent change in management now requires us to pay for water, trash, and sewer, which we never had to pay for before.Review from Apartments.com

August 14, 2015This apartment complex is conveniently located in the western Detroit suburbs in a residential neighborhood, accessible to I-275, I-96, M-14, and Michigan Avenue. The bathroom and walk-in closet are the largest I have ever seen in an apartment home. Rent is reasonable, though we were just notified that we will now be required to pay for water/sewer/trash, which we never did before.
