My forever home
August 12, 2019I truly couldn't be happier with Tustin apartments. The apartments are clean, modern, well maintained, and very spacious . Its very quiet here and as a senior I feel very safe. The staff are wonderful and maintenance is always there to help. I never have a problem with parking, as it is assigned and covered. The grounds are well maintained and nice to walk around in the early morning or evening. I was very nervous about moving into a apartment after living on a farm, but it was time for me to let ...all that go and minimize my life, as I was getting older. I am glad I made the change to Tustin. So close to everything in town and a beautiful view of the mountain. The only issue I have is that its very hard to enjoy the pool as its so small and always full of children. Don't get me wrong I love kids and they really have a blast in there, but I feel if we had one hour a day or on a weekend that was for adults only that would be great, oh and if everyone would pick up after there pups that would be great too, but most people do. There's is always a few lazy ones that have to ruin it for others, pick up after yours pups, PLEASE, its not maintenance's job, its yours.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
A lovely place to call home!
May 22, 2019I don't know the validity of the prior complaints. I have had no problems here. The place is WELL BUILT, modern looking interiors with 9' ceilings, nice private decks with huge storage closets. All of the staff have been very nice and helpful from the first day I contacted them. There is no rent drop box, but EVERYONE knows to slide it under the cabana front door. The trash compactor is everyone's responsibility to push the start button after depositing their trash, not just maintenance. The one ...person complaining about the $80 trash bill, failed to mention that the bill is a water/sewer/garbage bill. Utility costs are based on your usage. Most of the tenants are pretty courteous and friendly to each other. There are a lot of families with kids and dogs. But most seem good about keeping noise down. And most are good about cleaning up after their dogs on the property grounds. I have been here for 6 months and have enjoyed being here. I also am thrilled that I am able to have my pit bulls live here with me. Everyone who has large dogs knows how difficult it is to find rental housing that allows them. There is pleanty of shopping, restaurants, bowling & a theater nearby. There are also very nice paved walking trails in the Yelm area. Overall, I recommend living here. Run Away!
July 24, 2018The management is terrible. Charlene is a nightmare. The units are cheaply made and over priced. The garbage piles up all around the trash compactor because maintenance is too lazy to operate the machine. The office does not have a drop box, you can't pay your rent online, and don't count on the office being open during office hours either. They WILL keep your deposit. Seriously, just run away. November 1, 2017This place is bad. The office staff especially Charlene is horrible. They grounds keep is very poor and dog droppings and be found every where. Do not expect a deposit back as they will fabricate charges to add up to your deposit. They do not tell you how high the garbage fee is. It was over $80 a month for our two bedroom. Do yourself a favor take a look at yelp before you rent here.Review from Apartments.com

January 29, 2017Toured the apartments, and they are beautiful... Let the leasing agent Charlene know that we were going to get a money order to place a hold on the 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment, and she said that was fine and that she would be there until 3pm. In the middle of getting the money order we once again called to let her know we were in the process of procuring the money order and would be right there, she once again said that was fine and she would be there as soon as we got there (2 minutes from the ...Walmart we purchased it from). She showed the apartment right after us and when we walked into the office not even 5 minutes after we spoke on the phone to let her know we were on the way, she looks up and informs us the apartment is rented but we can leave the money order in case something opens up. Deplorable customer service. This is absolutely a disgusting way to treat people. After reading through the reviews, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
