The lease renewal process was pretty pathetic. I never got an email or notification about my renewal as I have in years past and which I was expecting to get. If the process has changed that’s totally fine, but I have lived here for 3 years so I was unaware that I should expect anything different. I shouldn’t have to track down my lease. I also addressed several maintenance concerns via email to the leasing office and they were ignored and/or not addressed (and still have’t been). Pretty ...
ridiculous considering this is a “high end” building on the higher end of rent prices.

lightbulb replacement Came right up and replaced the bulbs. My only reservation is that you did not have the exact same size for the replacement bulbs, so substituted ones less bright. No offer of ordering the correct size was made. The person was very nice and did the work quickly.

We have just moved to 2 West. There are many, many places to live in Chicago. We chose to live in Two West and have just moved in. We have a beautiful apartment and love "extras" like the your great gym and the swimming pool and area near it. There is no need to say more.

Nice building - move-in was a little messy as we did not receive a fob right away and the apartment had some minor issues. Other than that, love it so far!

We're a recent move in and initial impressions include 1) unit continues to overall meet expectations 2) repairs are needed and uncertain how simple, quick 3) most staff are overly communicative and seems to be trying hard.

Building has gone significantly downhill. 2 W Delaware has been fo sale since the fall 2023. The owners have decided to put the least amount of maintenance investment possible so things are literally falling apart. We have not have a functioning garage door or lobby entry door for 7 months. The other night ALL the elevators were down. I have heard from former maintenance engineers that we don’t adequately keep up with elevator maintenance. Scary. Also, they used to clean our windows 2x a year. ...
Hasn’t happened in a year and I bet they skip spring cleaning. Mean while, they keep increasing the rents for people that live here and offering deals that are 20% lower to new renters. I can just hope new owners are better.
