DO NOT LIVE HERE -- INFESTED
May 15, 2023I lived here with my roommate for our junior year of college. The only nice thing about this apartment is its location near campus. The staff was nice enough, and we never had any problems with them, but the apartments themselves were not nice. The walls were insanely thin, so if anyone was by the pool, you could hear everything. There were also dogs that never shut up. Our neighbors definitely had a big family, and we could hear them most nights. We obsessively cleaned our apartment and plugged ...drains because there were roaches constantly. We had our apartment sprayed so many times our furniture was falling apart. We even tried home remedies to keep them away after the spraying, but nothing worked. We were convinced that they were coming from our neighbor's apartment because you can opt out of getting your apartment sprayed. To try and make a joke out of our problems, we had a whiteboard where we would track since the last roach was seen. We miraculously made it three weeks at one point. So to sum it up, this apartment has the potential to be nice, but you do have to live with creepy crawlies that may visit you in your sleep.Property Manager Responded

September 1, 2020All in all it's just not that great of a place to live and I can give you a few reasons why it might just be smart to avoid living here all together. Please note that this review has nothing to do with COVID. 1. For what you get, the apartments are extremely over priced because of the close proximity to the college. 2. Every other week there is some kind of water "emergency" and you will have your water shut off. 3. If you happen to be late on rent EVER, they will leave a notice on your door ...with some very private information for any other resident to see. Rent dues, Amount owed, etc. This is actually illegal. 4. Nobody living here seems to know how to use a laundry machine, your clothes will constantly come out of the wash with weird stains on them. 5. THIS IS A BIG ONE, once you move out they will do everything in their power to ignore you. I have sent about six emails now over the course of two months regarding my deposit refund, not once have they responded. I have also called and the manger never seems to be in the office, nor do I get a return call. 2 MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND I HAVE MOT RECEIVED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT. 6. Don't bother trying to leave the office a voicemail, IT IS FULL. 7. There are a lot of homeless people that use this complex as a thoroughfare. Directly next to the parking lot, in a bush there is a nice make shift living room that a homeless man has put together. Our first week living here my vehicle was broken into. Do yourself a favor and just find a better place to rent before you move in and start regretting it immediately.Property Manager Responded
September 10, 2020Tony, please know, we always follow ethical business practices and all California tenant laws. Notices are posted on doors to ensure they are received by our residents. Our team does their best to remain available to all those who need assistance. Due to the nature of the multifamily housing industry, occasional situations may draw us away from the desk for a moment or two. We apologize for any difficulty you had getting ahold of us and for any inconvenience this caused. Rest assured, all voicemails and emails will be returned when possible. We invite you to please call the office at (714) 992-0301 at your earliest convenience if you have any lingering questions or concerns. We would be more than happy to clarify things for you. Thank you. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
