Roach Problem - Former Resident
April 24, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comAt first, my experience here was great. However, over time, I’ve noticed a serious issue that needs to be addressed. I will not go into each one but I will address the main concern .There is a roach infestation throughout the building. Not everyone will experience this problem so you have to hope and pray you are not attached to the building that has the issue. These pests are not just in individual units but appear to be living within the walls and cabinet spaces, which makes the problem much ...bigger than a simple surface-level issue. Even when maintaining a very clean home and using pest control treatments, the results are only temporary. This indicates that the infestation is coming from within the structure itself, not from individual tenants. In my opinion, the only effective solution would be to treat the entire building at once, rather than handling units individually. Additionally, there is an ongoing issue with stray cats frequently coming onto the porches. While some may not mind, it can create sanitation concerns and adds to the overall discomfort of the living environment. Terrible Experience
March 25, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comThe property is in a great location and generally quiet, which I appreciated. However, the ongoing pest issue is a major concern and cannot be overlooked. There were frequent encounters with large flying tree bugs inside the unit, along with a persistent roach infestation that continued despite regular pest control treatments. Living with bugs inside your home—especially on a consistent basis—is simply unacceptable. Additionally, the leasing office experience was disappointing. Angie and Lisa ...often came across as nice-nasty, with communication that felt more emotionally driven than professional. There were multiple instances where tone and delivery did not align with standard customer service expectations. I have never lived in an apartment complex such as this where they actually care about their residents. I absolutely love it, I am glad that I chose this place to live whereas my son and I are treated like family and not just tenants, any repairs that requires attention are done within a 24-48hr time frame. I will receive a call to confirm that I’m satisfied with whatever was done, there’s an ...on call maintenance for when the office is closed if urgent matters need to be addressed. The Preserve consistently maintain a clean and very well kept community. The gate is always working and secure, trash is always handled efficiently. I love that we are provided monthly newsletters that we receive in the beginning of the month that keeps you up to date on anything new in the community, recipes, house hold hacks, etc. I also love the orchestrated events that they have which includes wine down Wednesday’s, Pool parties, Christmas parties with raffles, contests, and gifts. The “resident appreciation days” in which the Chic fila van comes in the morning at the front gate and distributes hot chicken biscuit’s, this has been the only apartment complex that I have lived in whereas they express their gratitude and appreciation that you are a tenant. It is nested in a sublime spot for anyone looking for a night-life/activities and shopping (you are close to EVERYTHING here). The complex is VERY clean and the entrance gates are ALWAYS working.
