The apartments and the amenities are nice, however the management is abysmal (e.g., rude and dismissive), particularly and most importantly showing complete disregard for the safety of the residents. They would move residents who are threatening and aggressive toward roommates from one apartment to the next, covering up these problems and siding with the problematic individual, vs taking steps to ensure psychological and physical safety. They seem more preoccupied with retaining residents and not ...
losing money no matter what these individuals do and how they behave toward others. It is impossible to feel safe in our own apartment! We will absolutely NOT renew the lease. Stay away from this place despite the great location.

Living here has been a more positive than negative experience for me personally. maintenance requests are usually resolved promptly, and I feel that the staff take pride in their work.
The only real complaints I have come from interactions with other residents. I’m not sure if it’s due to entitlement or youth, but they can be challenging at times, from loud noises to occasionally reckless behavior. However, overall, I am happy with my stay at Union.

Unfair charges, horrible parking, rude management

If I could give zero stars I would. This place hands down has the worst and most inconsiderate management I have ever seen in my life. To start off the parking situation is EXTREMELY ridiculous as there are not enough spots per bed. If you are a college student living off campus 9 times out of 10 you have a car so it doesn't even make logical sense to not have enough spaces per bed. If your a family/friend of a resident get ready to walk or get your car towed. There is a huge possibility that ...
your child will not have parking and will be stuck walking across fletcher during traffic, late at night, and holding grooccves/school supplies. In addition to walking across this street and I have contacted the complex to look into at least putting a street light so cars can see students that have to walk across the fletcher late at night after work or a long day at school and I was ignored with no response. There are many residents that are left to park across the street and this causes a huge safety concern since there are many speeding/drunk driver, especially for someone that is a young women. I was also told by the manager that I was next on the waitlist in the beginning of summer and to this day I am still on the "wait list" beside the fact that I have friends that have simply emailed to get a parking spot and were granted one. The manager has no compassion or empathy as she made my mother seem like an angry parent for being concerned for her daughter and she has made me seem impatient even though I have been dealing with the same issue since I literally signed my lease. Although the building itself is nice its not worth dealing with management that is extremely unhelpful and rude at all times. I have emailed the manger before since the front staff's answer to EVERYTHING is "I cant help you but feel free to email the manager" and the manger didn't even respond to my recent email. They also have decided to overcharge my roommate on electricity so she is now paying $70 where everyone else pays $1 because "her monthly rent is too low and they need to even it out" like what does that even mean

NO PARKING

A common complaint about union on fletcher is that is nearly impossible to get parking. I signed a lease contract and at the time did not have a car. I recently moved in and do have a car on campus. I called to get a parking permit so that I can park in the covered garage and they told me that because I didn’t indicate that I wanted a parking permit when I signed my lease almost a year ago that I would not be able to change this. I will have to park in one of 12 guest parking spaces outside! It’s ...
crazy to think that as a resident I have to either park in guest parking or park across the street! I don’t understand how a student apartment complex doesnt have enough parking spaces to accommodate at least each tenant living in the building! There are maybe 10 visitor parking spaces for the entire apartment complex which is ridiculous for a "student" apartment because there is nowhere for friends/family to park. There is also hardly ever resident parking on my floor. I live on the 2nd floor and have to park on the rooftop a lot because people would rather walk down the stairs than drive the garage. The front desk workers are not able to handle any situations from dogs barking to roommate questions and issues, the answer is always "I ...
cannot do anything to help you but you can send the manager an email." The issues continue and aren't even resolved by the managers.The pool is great but it closes at 10 even on weekends during the summer. For an apartment designed for and leased specifically to college students, this makes no sense.

This apartment complex has exceeded my expectations by far! The amenities are beautiful, it's a very nice place to live overall, I have met so many people here by the pool area & courtyard, and the staff is amazing! Definitely consider this place a home away from my actual home while I am here for college. 10/10 recommend!!
