Perfect Apartment for College Students

I’ve lived here for a while now, and I can honestly say I’ve had a really great experience. As a college student, finding an apartment that is affordable, safe, and close to campus was one of my biggest priorities, and this place has exceeded my expectations. It’s close enough to campus that getting to class is quick and easy, but it’s also conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and other essentials for students. The apartment itself has been comfortable and well-maintained. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance request, it has been taken care of quickly, and the maintenance staff has always been friendly, respectful, and efficient. It’s reassuring knowing that if something needs fixed, it won’t take weeks to get a response.
One of the biggest reasons I’ve enjoyed living here is the management team. They genuinely care about their residents and are always willing to answer questions or help with any concerns. Moving into your first college apartment can be stressful, but they made the entire leasing process smooth and easy to understand. Throughout my lease, they’ve continued to be responsive and professional.

I’ve lived at UV for 2 years and my experience has been overall very good. The amenities you get for what you pay are excellent value and the proximity to campus is convenient. They also won’t raise your rent if you renew your lease early which is very nice.

Unsafe, Unfair, and Unbelievable – Management Failed to Protect Me!

I had the worst experience living in this property. The management matched me with a roommate who locked me out of my own apartment, damaged my furniture, and even told the police I didn’t live there. When I called the police for help, they told me it wasn’t safe for me to stay.
I asked management to remove my roommate since I had done nothing wrong, but they refused to take action and instead forced me to leave. Instead of protecting a tenant who followed the rules, they enabled someone who ...

I have lived here for almost two years. The workers in the office are wonderful and so good at communicating with their residents about things going on. It is in a perfect location to where you are still capable of being apart of things going on in town but also far enough away for some quiet. We have only been here since August and have had a multitude of issues. To begin the apartment was never cleaned from the old tenant. Who left beer bottles, hard drugs, weed, etc. It was completely trashed. We notified them, they claimed they would send maintenance but no one ever came. After cleaning the apartment ourselves, we notified the office that there was no hot water, the floor was peeling, the dishwasher was leaking water, and the door to the furnace was broken. Again, we were told ...
someone would be sent but they weren’t. There’s more. The landlord noticed my girlfriend was here for a while visiting. She along with another young lady from the staff began banging on the door early in the morning. Being startled no one answered the door so they let themselves on. Initially she told us she could only stay for 3 days so we immediately started reviewing the lease. We saw something about 6 days which we didn’t quite understand so we asked about it and at that point were told that guests are only allowed 6 days for the ENTIRE YEAR! We tried to talk to her but it seems she took us questioning to the lease to offense and was so nasty towards us ever since then. My girlfriend left but they said she was still here and they would randomly come in to check if she was here. They did just that and found that SHE WAS NO LONGER HERE. They then informed me that she would be arrested if she came back. I don’t even understand how it escalated to this point.

Love the place, very affordable compared to evolve and the reserves. Having all the utility fees being included is also a plus unlike other places. Decent atmosphere with everyone around you and nice floor plan layouts.
Only problem I have is the internet. Internet is not "high speed" like they had advertised since it is run by Pavlov. Internet tends to go out every other week or more. A good typical internet speed number is around 25mbps, the complex is running about 5-10mbps.

I am currently a resident at University Village and I just signed my lease to live here again for another year. I have no complaints about UV. Maintenance is also quick, the office workers are always friendly and helpful, and I feel safe in my apartment. Despite covid, university village also still offers amenities and hold safe events regularly. I would recommend UV to all my friends!
