I lived there for 18 months, two years ago. Staff was very nice. Repairs were always done promptly. However: (1) The apartment complex went HUD, during the time I lived there, and current residents were not informed. It took all of us a while to figure out what was going on. (2) The pool was always dirty -- always. (3) There is a cell phone tower on top of one of the two buildings, which was put up while I was there, and residents weren't informed of that either; (4) The 'state of the
...art' workout room consists of two treadmills and a TV. Last but not least, I have no idea how they measure utility bills but my monthly bills -- and a lot of others' bills -- were extremely high every month, and there was no way to check to make sure that we were being billed properly. I don't think I was ever intentionally cheated, but I do think that the staff -- the one(s) who figured out these bills -- didn't always know what they were doing when it came to correctly figuring out these bills.
As I said, the staff was very nice, repairs are done quickly, and the views, for most of the apartments, are gorgeous. But the monthly rents and utility bills were (and still are) outrageous for those of us who were not HUD. And unless there has been a real makeover in the past two years, the whole place is a little shabby, simply from wear and tear over the years.
