I’ve been all over the world...
March 22, 2019I’ve stayed in apartments in 5 different countries and lived in 3 places in San Antonio- I had more tranquility in Romania. If you want the high ceilings it’s only the bottom floor and if god forbid the lady above you has absolutely no concept on common courtesy and cannot or will not ask her children or her party friends to calm down, sucks to be you. Management has not found any solution besides having a meeting.Property Manager Responded

Good Place With Glaring Flaws
May 26, 2018The apartments are nice and modern with stainless steel appliances. The location is pretty good as far as the ability to quickly get on the highways, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. As far as residents...what residents? Where are they? You rarely see anyone outside, probably because half the apartments are empty due to the government holding them for incoming military personnel who are training at Fort Sam Houston. The actual occupancy rate is around 50%, the rest of the ...apartments are just being paid for and held. As for the cons: keep track of your packages because you rarely receive notifications that they have arrived. I tested the system and let a package sit in the mailroom for 11 days post-delivery. I received the Amazon notification but never a peep from the office. No note, no text, no email. Nothing. Expect to see dog crap everywhere; despite numerous residents suggesting for years that they install more doggie trash cans (1 total for the entire complex) or more doggie disposal bag dispensers on the wall (2 total for the entire complex), they decided to spend tens of thousands of dollars on carports instead. Revenue-generating? Yes. But how much does it cost to screw a doggie bag dispenser into the wall? And how much business are you losing from clients dodging poop? No clue if the apartment complex even recycles, as they have a total of 4 recycling trash cans in the entire complex inside of the dumpster areas. Yes, 4 of the individual household cans are expected to take care of hundreds of people. However, given that the same bottles I threw in there 6 months ago are still there, does a recycling service even stop by? Don't expect to be able to rely on the office hours- closes at 530? That means anytime after 5. Opens at 1030 on a Saturday? Except to show up at 1130 and no one is there. Open on a Saturday at all? Show up at 2 and the lights have been off all day. Make sure you are flexible with your check deposit date for rent, because that check can be deposited anytime between the 4th and the 17th of the month. Also, on that note, make sure you pay very close attention to your statement. The computer considers any deposit after the 4th to be late. However, since the office deposits the checks whenever is convenient for them, keep an eye out for random $95 charges that appear. That late charge is not real.
