Definitely got roaches

Property maintenance is the best thing about this apartment to be honest . I’ll just post the bullet points . Roaches (weekly pest control visits only minimized the problem) Subpar renovations (don’t let the display unit fool you ) they will give old appliances if they still work even in the “renovated” units Trash piles up outside & old furniture Neighborhood is pretty safe Rent at your own risk and make sure you don’t have a roach infestation somehow.

I took this place for granted

I lived here for a few years and never had any issues with it. Management was always readily available to handle any requests, usually solved in within 24 hrs. There are no structural issues or pests. It’s about a 10-20 minute drive for most stuff. The new place I moved to doesn’t compare to this one and once my lease is up, I might even move back here. Got no complaints here!

Roaches will be your neighbor

Been here a while now and I can say that roaches are definitely a problem! Disappointing because they take & post great photos but pay attention to details if you’re doing a walk through. Maybe talk to the neighbors as well.

So far I haven't had any issues since living here. For the few times that I've had to call maintenance, they've been responsive and punctual. I only have two issues, parking and the fitness center. Initially I was told that guest need to start using their passes starting at 7 PM but I've seen others use them starting later. As far as the fitness center its definitely not up to par. Each unit pays a $75 fitness center fee, its 261 units in the complex so that's 19,575 in fitness fees that are ...
collected if every unit is filled. Where is that money going? Its definitely not going towards the fitness center. The fitness center has a broken cable machine, outdated ellipticals and treadmills that don't move very smooth. Paying that fee is kinda like throwing money away when I had to get a local gym membership. I could be working out a few steps from home.

I lived her for about 4 year when Milestone owned it Wonderful Now Poor management, rude people except for the front desk assistant Zara and Torrie the assistant manager. I was counting down the days until I move out. I was an wonderful tenant when I moved out I left a gallon of milk in the freeze I was charge a cleaning fee I said this is petty. They don't wanna give you your security deposit back, I call the Quest Management main office for 3 days no one answer the phone The people that live ...
over top of my had about 3 kids they was making noise all day and night. At this point I'm glad I'm gone. DON'T DO IT.

Unfortunately I have to give Valor Apartments one star. The ONLY good thing about this place is the location. I’ve been a resident here for about 2 1/2 years and now I’m counting down the days until I move out. I’ve made multiple complaints and numerous police calls about my upstairs neighbors making noise all day and all night - nothing was done. The noise is so bad that it literally sounds like the ceiling is about to crack. There was never any follow up from the leasing office. I had to ...

The walls are paper thin & the leasing office is non- responsive. Now I feel like the only option I have, is to move out because of this lack luster treatment. Looks nice on the outside

Be careful if you move here. I moved from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor in two different buildings because the floors were so thin I had to deal two sets of neighbors heavy footsteps and squealing pipes to now dealing with neighbors below me who smoke marijuana everyday in the bathroom so much it smells up my bathroom every morning and evening. There is also a colony of raccoons living in the crawl space in my apartment. They fight, and make noise all the time throughout the apartment. ...
Management changes often and they avoid doing anything. Rent is too high for such small apartments. Live here at your own risk. If your lucky you’ll get a quiet drug free building.

Overall good complex, but room for improvement

Some units are nicer than others...the older units need some repairs, like sliding doors falling off the track. Also not a fan of the slabs of wood that are supposed to be balcony flooring, with big gaps between each slab. Quite cheap. Things (ashes, cigarettes, lighters, matches, you get the idea) are constantly falling through the cracks from above. Appliances (at least in my unit) could really use some updating to be more energy efficient. Management and staff in leasing office is very ...

I am in love with Aston Wood Apartments. From the moment I saw my apartment I knew it was home. I love the set up of my apartment. Since my apartment is on the third floor I have a fireplace and beautiful vaulted ceilings. The only downfall to my apartment is there is not a lot of closet/storage space. There is an extra storage space on the balcony, this should come in handy. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, everyone is very friendly. I'm happy that I found Aston Woods on apartments.com.
