August 17, 2015Hi , I'm Kathleen I live in apartment that looks beautiful on the outside but once you walk into the your apartment you start slowly seeing why the person left. This building is infested cockroaches The building will not supply the start of th The building will not supply exterminator to get rid of them their attitude is do-it-yourself I have two girl exterminator to get rid of them their attitude is do-it-yourself. I have done everything to get rid of them have bought The roach bomb gotten ...sprays honestly everything but it doesn't work and I also have a leaking windowpane I have called the office over 50 times that it needed to be fix but they don't call me back it like they don't care.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 14, 2015The buildings are old with a nice solid feel to it. Maintenance though is a bit of an issue. The apartments are spacious, not like the ones built today. The crew is great, but if management could hire a new super - one who hasn't been too comfortable with his position enough to be lazy and hogging parking spots for free - this place could be better. The neighborhood has gotten tougher from when we moved in but when you are in the complex, it's beautiful. They don't make apartment buildings like ...these anymore so we really hope it doesn't lose the aura of olden times.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 31, 2015The Van Tassel Building is exceptional. The maintenance of this building is second to none. Everyone is so friendly and helpful that it makes living here just peaceful. The areas surrounding the Van Tassel Building are historic and amazing to view. It sits next to the river which makes summers magical and winters spectacular. Everything you would need is just walking distance from the Van Tassel. Perfect location for a perfect historical building.
