October 21, 2024I just wanted to take the time to state what great office staff we have at Veda..forever The Grand! Gio and Melanie are effective leaders. They both go above and beyond for residents. Although, I do let Gio and Melanie know that I appreciate them and that they are doing a phenomenal job, I want to give them a shout out because even during the renovation, they are still upbeat, friendly, professional and managing the wonderful property to make beautiful changes and upgrades. Great Management Team
August 19, 2024Living at at Veda has been a good experience for me though out the years. It is even greater now with the management team that we have. Gio, Melanie, Greg, Marie and the team are examples of going above and beyond. Very nice and energetic. August 9, 2024I'm a long time resident of Veda, formerly and forever will be The Grand to me. I just want to say that I'm very happy with Gio, Melanie, Gregg, Ray and the temp Marie! They are very helpful, approachable, courteous, professional and respectful! All of my maintenance requests are timely and fixed to satisfaction! Thank you maintenance crew! Although we just had renovations in 2019, I feel that Veda looks awesome already, but I'm VERY excited about the upgrades and the major additions to our ...community. April 8, 2024I love living here! The amenities are so convenient. It’s very affordable. The staff is so accommodating. I absolutely think this is the best place to choose to rent from in LA. It’s safe in the valley, it’s close to so many restaurants and shops. I also love that we need a special key fob to be able to come inside and access the elevator. March 19, 2024In regards to maintenance, there is no communication. No one calls or emails on work order status and we are left in the dark waiting. And there is no phone number to call to follow up. A lot of things we moved in the apartment complex for don't work; the coffee machine is always out of order, the TVs don't work at all on any of the gym equipment, there is no reception in the lobby or the gym and the wifi at the gym does not work, so you can't watch TV or listen to music on your phone at the gym, ...movie theatre doesn't work, the cycle room is a mess, pool and jacuzzi are out of order and closed... basically, all the amenities that we moved in here for do not work as advertised so it's been a huge disappointment. There needs to be someone assigned to upkeep the amenities that people moved in here for.Property Manager Responded

Day 105 of construction with no end in sight
May 11, 2023I currently live here, I wish I could leave zero stars. Fair warning – this is going to be a long review. Our unit has been under construction since January 26th of this year. There was a leak from the heavy rains in our roommate's bedroom and our living room that they came to repair. The contractors blocked off half of our living room and our balcony (shoving all the remaining furniture to the other half of the living room demeaning it unusable) with a plastic tarp and then didnt come ...back. And didnt come back. And didnt come back. A dozen unanswered phone calls and emails to management. Until finally I threatened legal action, then miraculously someone got right back to me. Last week they finally came back to work, but SURPRISE it's been so long that they are saying the wood beams in our living room are rotting so repairs are going to take EVEN LONGER. AND my roommate's situation got worse and they had to do the same thing they did to the living room: block half of it off with a plastic tarp and shove the rest of his belongings into the other half (including the bed being taken apart and leaning on the wall). When i told them they effectively unhoused my roommate and need to get him a hotel in the meantime, they said to contact our renter's insurance. We did, they said its the apartment's responsibility. And WHAT DO YOU KNOW they won't respond to any of my emails requesting a hotel again. It's really convenient that they only respond if I threaten to sue. They said they can't give us any money off of rent until ALL the repairs are finished. So, today is day 105 of our apartment being under construction. Day 105 of having no living room or balcony. Day 105 of no sunlight in our apartment. Day 105 of rotting wood in our apartment. It's also Day 10 of my roommate having no bedroom. Day 10 of my roommate having no bed to sleep on. Day 10 of my roommate not having a hotel or other housing accommodations. This is Month 5 of paying full rent without full access to our unit. I could look past the fire alarms going off at all ours of the night. I could look past the water being shut off with no notice. I could look past all of the large capacity washers and dryers being removed with no notice. I could look past the rec room being renovated with no notice. I could look past the elevators breaking every week. Don't waste your money moving here. I will be suing.Property Manager Responded

Don't live here. You will regret it.
April 25, 2023This place is a dump. Looks great on the outside, but the inside is riddled with leaks, non functioning amenities, constant noise and water shut offs. My place flooded and has had multiple issues that go unaddressed, maintenance does not keep up. Leasing does not pick up the phone or get back to emails. They really dont care, I wish someone would have told me to run because this place has just been a burden in every way. Don't live here.Property Manager Responded

Veda is TERRIBLE
March 22, 2023If I could give 0 stars I would. The location is the only good thing about this apartment and that has nothing to do with the building itself. My unit is invested with cockroaches, my guest room is always leaking so we had to put all of the rooms things in the living room. The mattress is in the LIVING ROOM for MONTHS because management can’t address or resolve the issues. we are now worried about black mold.
