This place is the worst. It is full of roaches and NOTHING will fix it. The will make you wait months before they call pest control then that's when the real fun begins. They are everywhere and when you report mold they will call it mildew. Keep records of everything because you will need it.

The complex is fairly nice and in a nice area. I have heard of other people having issues with vandalism, but I have not dealt with any of that, thankfully.
What makes this review 2 stars is the awful customer service from the office. Everyone I have spoken with seems like they could not care less about doing a good job. There is no welcome information given to new tenants, and every rule or procedure must be sought out. Pool/gym hours and entry codes, utility charges, dumpster info, etc. All ...
information had to be researched by me because the management couldn’t be bothered to inform their tenants.
Communication is bad. It’s hard to reach anyone at the office, usually taking multiple phone calls. I just called a little bit ago and had them yell something and hang up on me. They denied it when I called back.
The only way management communicates is through emails that are copied and pasted from previous emails asking people not to break the law in the parking lot. Seems like there are no consequences for those issues. Sometimes the emails have no content, just a subject line saying the water is getting shut off for an unknown reason.
The water gets shut off frequently. No explanation is given why. They told me it was totally normal for apartments to shut water off for hours at a time multiple times a month. That is not true.
The gate is always broken. Maintenance is nice but does not always know what’s going on. I had them come into my apartment one morning and wake up my baby so they could inspect the fireplace. No warning was given, and I don’t even have a fireplace!
They needed to replace my microwave and took almost two weeks to do it, constantly telling me it was coming next-day. I’m pretty sure things only happen when you call to remind them.
I work in customer service and in management. If I acted the way the office people do, I would be fired - and rightfully so.

I am amazed there are any positive reviews. The management is lazy and unresponsive. They do not do proper pest control. You will find roaches everywhere. Their security gates are constantly broken. Trash overflows out of the dumpsters and pet waste bins. The grass is left untouched for weeks at a time. The pools have both been broken for over a year. There is a building slowly collapsing in the back and no work being done. They currently have had our water shut off for 18 hours, 13 hours after ...

Horrible apartment complex I ever experienced. The gate has not been fixed and sure enough we already got someone car broken in. Lastly, parking is horrible. Horrible experience, apartment was full of roaches (pest control can’t control them). Firstly they will show you nicely furnished model apartment, but they will give you apartment having low graded bath tub with cheap quality paint on it which will peel off with in 3-4 months, poor quality carpet, windows blinds, kitchen cabinets etc. Finally when you move-out they will put all unfair charges on you (many hundreds of dollars at least). Please note our pest control company is on site every Thursday, and we hired a new vendor in late 2017 that's producing much better results. If you're experiencing an ongoing pest issue, please contact the office, so we may inspect and treat as needed ASAP. Also, we walk the property daily Monday-Friday and fine any residents found leaving their trash out during non-valet hours. We encourage residents to take photos and email them to us with the violating neighbor's apartment number anytime trash is observed left out on the weekends. Finally, we strive to power wash the breezeways quarterly, but our maintenance team has been short a member for several months so this schedule's been more difficult to maintain. We're actively looking to hire another Maintenance Technician soon, and we've been researching methods to help remove more ...

The apartment complex is very family friendly. You see people out with their children everyday. Starting my own family I needed to move to an apartment that was a little less young professional and a little more family friendly. i get that with this complex. With that being said My experience with the staff isn't horrible, but not the best and far from it. When moving into the apartment they didn't honor the price listed online and refused to give us the apartment at that rate. By that time our ...
hands were tied. I will say they quoted us a higher price to begin with, but we never signed any paperwork after looking at other apartments when we saw the lower price online we went with this apartment. One of the things keeping us here is that family friendly atmosphere. Again I love coming home to my wife and children and being surrounded by others who have kids. Can't say that about my last 2 apartments where we felt more alienated, because we were amongst the few who had children. Outside of the initial move in things have not been horrible with the staff, but those first impression are always hard to leave anyone.
Now off the staff. Would I recommend this apartmentAs long as the initial experience isn't what ours was yes. If you are looking for a quiet complex or want the luxury of having the elementary school right across the street, restaurants, grocery stores, retailers near you then this is a good place to be. Not far from the airport and easy access to the major highways.

Verandah at Valley Ranch is a wonderful apartment to live in with some good maintenance. The apartment by itself is not very new but maintenance is spot on. Commute to airport / school / groceries or anything you name it is within minutes. Thanks to the location.
